Some say analsys..some say financial opinions/advice
Anyone seen any news on the winners/funding. Was expecting news yesterday. Looks like we may be waiting until monday
I've just realised I'm doing that annoying engaging with negative people thing. I'm just gonna block instead and save your time
You make a fair point. I mean....I wouldn't want to fund anyone unless the project was built and up and running
Advanced stage is not really the right term ....id say a more focused stage
For me ..bringing in a man who they describe as having big city contacts (or words to that extent) is only a positive and shows things moving forward in terms of funding. The other appointment looks to be covering legal bases. Can't imagine bringing people in for a few years down the road....I'd say funding is now reaching an advanced stage
Would it not be in the government interest to provide some guarantees to the projects. I'm sure if the government is pushing for things to move forward then it's not hard for them to put a guarantee in place for large scale 'green projects'. I personally cannot imagine them standing buy while everything they have been doing and pushing for Goes down to drain because no banks will fund projects of that size
Very much like arguing McDonald's sell burgers so there's no point opening up a burger shop anymore. It's a huge market and if anyone thinks it's will be exclusive to one or 2 companies is bonkers. Its a long wait til the end and for sure lots will be playing the same game but to assume anyone with a project for saf will be knocking velocys out of the market is a bit nieve in my opinion. I don't like my share price going down as much as the next person but I didn't buy in thinking they will be up and running in time for Christmas
Lots of news lately to go in velocys favour. I'm seeing it as a bit of a slump across the board this month (not many shares holding steady) and hopefully a lot of people moving from public sector shares that will be hit by a lock down again, to other options. Fingers crossed on something from the competition..for me..a company on the jet zero council getting part of the pie will give confidence they have their foot in the door. A lot of today's 'literature' provided by others gives me confidence to be honest
Been a bit of a 'large-ish' seller after hours for the past few days/weeks. Has this been a common thing or is someone cashing in from the large drop?
Sold in February (14 weeks ago).....I don't know how long it would take to put the wheels in motion for a placing but 14 weeks to get it all decided, signed off, and put through sounds about right. I'm sorry but i'm not buying the excuse for him to sell them back in feb (tax wasn't it?). I was umming and arring on going back in with Eqtec but not after that one. Good luck to everyone and I hope it really does work out but as a lot have been saying...if nothing more is signed this year then can we/you not expect another placing next year...and so on
Sitting in work patiently checking this board for today's info/feedback.
Has anyone got anything productive or worthwhile to share?
HI All. May be dipping my feet in with this one today. Save me looking through all the previous to find again....What are the likely timescales for the Planning Application and when we/you will be looking at a likely answer. 27th May is in my head for some reason but can't remember if that's when to be submitted arguments or the actual decision. Sorry if going over what has been discussed plenty of times before
been wondering today.. withe the markets moving so much this week on the stronger value of the pound......if the pound were to fall drastically due to a no deal confirmed...if a lot of money came from America to buy shares...would the price go up or down?? I know that sounds obvious but its like buying 100m shares in Zimbabwe travelogue for 25p
Excuse my ignorance..follow as much as I can
but would it have something to do with the scot bros deal everyone is mentioning?! Lot of talk of being close to a/the deadline and this comes out?!
I can't imagine many unemployed people taking a daily commute into the city they don't have a job in....or to get the bus to go to the shops with no money to spend. Personally I see stagecoach filling the gaps of local companies going under and providing for school runs as the big picture. But then its like saying KFC will start doing well if chicken cottage collapsed . Everything is relative isn't it
"He has got nearly £10 million in the kitty after printing another 2 billion shares with the last low priced placing , theres nearly 1 share per person in the planet"....
Lovely idea...until you realise you can buy Luxembourgs entire country out of shares for 2998.43.
