Using a $1700 gold price our NAV8 for the business is US$526m equivalent to a P/NAV of 0.24x – a low multiple considering that Shanta is a high growth gold producer with 100kozpa expected in 2023.

Our NAV of NLGM alone is 17.4pps implying no value for Singida or WKP.
The shares are trading on EV/EBITDA multiples of just 2.2x and 1.8x for 2023 and 2024 respectively.
We maintain 30p PT.

On London's equity markets, educational publisher Pearson jumped 8.74% after reaffirming its expectations for full-year sales and adjusted operating profit as it posted a 7% jump in third-quarter underlying sales.
