I see your comment as pointless as the uptrend and downtrend you have mentioned will depend on the time frame one takes.
A change of direction was taken when I did say, and yesterday could be another move to it, though today's large drop on the Gold price does not help much but despite that share price is UP, to start the day, how long is going to last is another thing.
All metals and Oil prices are well down by over 1%.

There are points in the charts when the share price overruns Bollinger's top Band, plus the stochastic is also at the top, this point is considered overbought, short-term trend of retrace, and most likely will move up again later on.

There are points in the company charts when the stock overruns the Bollinger top Band and at that point is considered overbought, plus the stochastic and RSI are also at the top, so this trend of retracement should continue now and most likely will move up again later. This is a short-term movement.

I understand your question and amazement, but as I said at lunch time, yesterday's large buying trades was the main reason,the overhang was cleared, so any buying now is moving the share price higher.....
