IF people want to follow news on Mongolia. Parliament /mining/ environmental and other departments just follow Facebook.

Mongolia wants to attract foreign investment and want to take its debt down which is only around 6bl not a lot compared to western countries.

A country is only successful when there are foreign investment coming in and dollars are moving in the country rather than out.

Mongolia call sell all raw materials and bring dollars in which can make them all very rich considering very small population.

Point is no country would want to loose trust from foreign investors.

In the rest of Mongolia other companies are not facing problems like PM.

Its just the local government being awkward.

Don't worry about the LP. If the government don't give us the LP, they have lot more to loose than PM.

It will be seen as a country where you can not invest.

Unlucky for PM is that PC messed it up in dorno province by breaking the rules.

PM is literally in the same field so I can't see how its an environmental issue when PM haven't been given a chance.

I think we are all in profit so we could easily walk away from this with healthy returns but we know the real deal will be when PM is making money .

Following discussions with selected drilling contractor, Major Drilling ("Major"), a spud date for the Velociraptor 1 well has been confirmed for June 2023 following completion of Major's current programme for another operator. All required equipment for the well is in country. Field work has commenced to make ready the water supply well that will be used to supply the operation. Site construction will commence during May in good time for the scheduled June spud. The well is expected to take around 30 days to drill to a prognosed total depth of c.1500m.

About a month to drill.

Preparation should start within next 10 days.

Site needs to be prepared before equipment turns up.
