Average down and get out sooner ?

My foray into this 12 months ago at almost a 4 bagger (23.14p avge). Wish I have loaded up more here than many other turkeys like BT.A but philosophy of paper losses are transcient works well in the grand scheme.

Everyone wants 888 but the board say @156p undervalued so stomp up an agreed £3+ bid and end the dance of the 7 veils.

In particular liked this bit a lot ............................ "A Paused Growth Story with Strong Margins".

No brainer with recovery potential.

Seems volume is returning here and hopefully through the worst for a quality company. Hope that a biider is circling around 180p +

This is going well through £2 although trimming on way up breadcrumb style in case of retrace.

My read re Bloomberg terminals is that it is a price negotiation tactic. The SP here is back to the ADD atm with the dividend alone worth the hold.

I have been invested in ABDN - since the floatation and it owes me nothing as the dividends and trades have multibagged the initial 230p.

Risk to 130p Reward to 320p - strap in to this rocket. DYOR.

Volume seems to be picking up again as the SP stealthily rises - a rerate is underway. HOLD4GOLD.

FWIW, I share your view to a successful outcome. After all, only a bridging loan in effect. An easy fix is any agreement from a friendly player in Abu Dhabl that is intrinsically linked with self interest in PFC success.

The only unknown is timing, adding on dips.... trimmed at 92 so 79 r below seems a worthwhile punt.

Not advice, but can act as a release valve.

I can not recall your total investment quanity, average etc. However I do remember you averaged down well so a turn is needed for you and then pfc heaven.

However perhaps consider this. Perhaps free up a portion of your funds, even if it increases your average temporarily as if this recovers then the exit may be higher but you will not be as fund strapped.

Your choice your decision as you assess your risk and comfort. Just a thought.

Ask yourself if it goes to £zero can you manage or will things still be OK, re MH etc or would you prefer to take a bot of the table and hedge you bets and ride it out with a rainy day fund.
