H&B have had ongoing financial problems and always seemed a risky partner. Is the same true of THG?

SOH admits that 2022 was a poor year for the prebiotics side of the business. But is looking forward to improvements in the coming year.
Unfortunately we will have to suffer the bad numbers, financially, as full year 2022 results will dominate upcoming reports. (My words).

Much better news on Probiotix and hoped for deals in SweetBiotix too. (I know we've heard it before, so proof will be in the functional ingredients pudding, ??)

SOH is looking to control costs and hopes he can devote more time to getting Pre-B back on track, as Steen is now in place at Pro-B. He thanks us for persevering with our investment. Hopefully, this time next year we will be able to look back on a successful 2023. Time will tell.

We could do with a Trading Update to support release of tied up shares. SOH says going to do a podcast with Steen in Jan.

It would seem that the Eqtec ship, which was almost wrecked on the rocks of overstretched funding and large UK projects, is hopefully being steered to the calmer waters of smaller MDCs. Perhaps a short visit to port to repair any damaged rigging and then hopefully we can use the experience to embark on a fruitful, more exciting journey.

MJ - there is a recent Proactive i/v covering Italy MDC. And other things. JVDL was very clear it would complete but they are waiting on delivery of a non-Eqtec tech component. So not certain.

This is how they should have proceeded. Small steps. Eqtec are treading a fine line between getting excellent (IMO) tech commissioned and running out of funds.

I'm holding and hoping.

Direct result of Deeside setback. Loss of expected revenue in 2022. Not good, even if thought necessary. Vague generalisation of what funds are for.

In terms of staff costs, this might explain why Steen Andersen, our prospective CEO of PBX, the other day on LinkedIn, appeared to be offering his services to anyone who might take him?
