JVDL is my least fav of the Chiefs. I have often thought of him as the "used car salesman"! But is there a source for the comments below? Seem to have missed it.

Ultimately Eqtec want to licence their tech. So being cynical, does it matter to Eqtec whether individual projects are profitable? Clearly it would help if they are! But I get the impression France and Germany seem happy for govt/tax payers to subsidise energy and new tech. Perhaps seeing the wider picture. In the UK, all Sunak and Starmer can talk about is building nuclear. And "renewables", which they don't elaborate on as their advisers haven't got a clue.

However, Eqtec do have to get to the stage of being "the Intel inside", as DP once described it. I am hoping they don't go bust before then.

I would be surprised to see Opti sell any PBX shares. There have been some fairly strong hints that PBX is to be developed and sold under new CEO.

On SBTX, if I was a shareholder I would be peeved at selling by Opti. But don't forget SOH bought original company for £750k. Even now Opti 's stake in that is worth a few million.

I wouldn't give up on Prebiotix side yet either. If, and ok big IF, what SOH told us in recent presentation about new partners, expansion in India and S Arabia and success in online comes to pass, Opti will recover.

Most companies on AIM will have had massive dilutions and be heavily in debt. Not so Opti.

Of course, this is all just my opinion. And in 15 years of buying shares, I've just about broken even! So...

AS, yes it will be interesting to see how figures are presented. I agree PBX will be strong. Would buy regular, small amounts if not on Aquis. Hopefully to AIM in September.

As for Opti (Prebiotix). I feel that will recover but may take a year or so to regain sentiment. And SweetBiotix. Well, still requires patience and faith. Hopefully one of the 2 current partners can launch by mid 24 or earlier. Cheers. MU. 0

Hi. I've been holding for about 3 years. I have no expertise in this area, so like below have just picked up stuff by following company news.

I agree, Eqtec is currently walking a tight rope. Apparently good and worthy tech, but funds running out in difficult financial environment.

Always optimistic in time scales. And just when there appears momentum, a deadline is missed and any positive sentiment evaporates.

I have a very small investment, governed by available funds. Took a small profit at c. 1p when rose to 3p. A little underwater now, but not much. Still hoping.

AS - first thanks for posting some numbers that might inform our expectations when the results finally come out. I have been looking at PBX figures and this is what I come up with.

Jan - Mar £20k (source Opti H1 22) "revenue"

Apr - Jun £306k (source PBX H1 22) "inv sales"

- Aug £1.12m (source PBX H1 22) "confirmed orders"

Apart from the differing descriptions, revenue, invoiced sales, confirmed orders, the figures I have found appear to imply a very good July and Aug. £800k. What am I missing? Misinterpreting?

i would definitely buy at this sp but can't be ****d with going through a broker. especially that it wouldn't be sizeable purchases.
