I don't know about the product linked to. And confess I missed the ref to Sweet. (is it legit?) But that particular thread on Advfn is populated by numerous posts by a small group (or even possibly one or two) who repeatedly take the mickey out of Opti. The posters sometimes purport to be warning genuine investors against company spin. And they may make the occasional valid criticism but their continuous sarcasm takes away from the points they might make.

What you could say is sales are 3.5 x what they were last year. But the INCREASE (77 - 22) is 2.5 x.

Steady progress, it seems, with 1st generation products. With some possibly big revenues growing in Asia. IF, if, things go to optimistic f/c.

Update on 2nd generation "in due course" but still "close to commercialisation".

Agree. Perhaps the Tata RNS was just a "sweetener". But, like you I have no idea why the SP is rising, or more pertinently, why the strong buying.

fwiw, i don't subscribe to elrico but that's because i am a tight-****! in my exchanges with him, i have found him a decent bloke. and personally admire his support for the salvation army.

In addition, Opti had agreement in late 2016 with Tata to develop SlimBiome products. Not sure what became of these.

Out of interest we had an agreement with Tata in Sep 2017. For GOS rather than FOS.

Wish proactive would pay me to reorder/summarise RNSs. Also, Opti set up India "subsidiary" Nov 21,l so unsure how much they were involved. Presumably key.

It would be useful (as often) to know the broad terms of this agreement. Eg do Tata get % of sales? Have Opti paid to use Tata ingredient? Have Tata paid Opti for privilege?
