Thanks for patiently trying to explain the inflation linkage though I'm still confused but in a different way.
If as titchtitch quotes.
"The inflation linked return is the increase in the weighted average discount rate" then why does that not result in a reduction in NAV as it seems to do in other situations? I suppose now that I understand the meaning of .7 inflation linkage all I really need to know is can we expect dividend payouts to rise by 70% of any future increase in inflation or does it not work that way? Thanks.
