I don't know how @unionpacific got this one right today when he said "NO PLACING"

So NO PLACING. This is a non-event that's been happening for two months.

Much higher chance of a buyout then the the rumour report being true. Where is the placing RNS that was promised?

Think more vertical, it requires a calculator a pen or pencil and piece of paper to write all the information down. I even broke down all the different aspects of the business for you over the last week. You can't go wrong.

After much thought, I'm of the opinion that Omega Diagnostics could be bought out soon @ c. £275m, but I would say a cheeky offer anywhere between 90p to 165p could well be tabled.

ODX have been very quite of late, they are expanding fast with their jobs and are certainly in the growth phase.

But as it stands, the finnCap puts the sum-of-parts valuation at upper end of £155m (without covid-19 testing). Lansdown have expanded ODX partnerships beyond DAM Health and across multiple countries. Adding to this is the CE-mark approved for self-use along with FDA application. Potentially 2million tests production capacity would generate revenues at £300m-£700m from the covid-19 testing. Could well (with some discount applied) add a further c. £125m in value.

So it is a fact that they have confirmed they are seeking equity. We need to ask why? Usually it's because you need money.

They confirm the market conditions are challenging. This may also be a clue why they need to raise funds as things have not panned out as hoped.

In the same sentence, the term "Market conditions" relates to "issue of equity", no need to second guess.

This sentence is comforting to know and if this was the only sentence in the RNS I think the SP would have shot up....however we can all see that it is a bit contrary to the rest of the narrative within this RNS which is about trying to fund raise.

It's not contrary, they are stating that they have "significant cash resources" i.e. "there is no immediate need to raise additional capital". Meaning we are not doing this out of desperation.

They do not say they won't instigate a fund raise exercise or they may to choose not to but rather they may choose to delay it until market conditions are more favourable.....i.e. I translate this to mean we will do it when the SP is higher.

They won't do a fundraise until it's necessary. Growth companies need to fund raise - nothing new.

"I feel the fund raise is nailed on but ODX are claiming that they can wait until they choose to pull the trigger".

So tomorrow morning, I'm expecting an RNS based on your comments along with @TWatcher/@CaptainSwag that states "fundraise".
