I will though say something about the Iraq war,I was then living in the uk and did read about it on the news and managed to retain some thoughts of my own,no matter what era you were born in to,it may surprise you to know Iq did not arrive with the birth of the internet.One thing I chose to do was watch the debate live in the commons.My view was that the case was not made for wmd and that The prime minister deceived parliament and went on to send many people to they’re deaths.He should be held to account.
It would seem that your assumptions on many subjects is flawed as is your view of older people.

As another poster commented a while ago.
In my teenage years I knew many men who had the first hand experience of world war 2 and they all of those people hammered home to me the futility of war.
Forget a wonderful article or minerals here or there,the only common thread with any war is immense suffering by ordinary people.
Would NATO attack Russia no would Ukraine attack Russia no why because nobody wants it.
The only issue here is that Ukraine is a sovereign state and has been invaded.
That is wrong.

CT other Russians that are sanctioned in uk and have massive assets in the uk transfer them to a trust in their kids names and the sanction mean squat.Oh and no one says a word.

People are being killed, that is the event that is taking place.

Hi Sasa,as it’s open season on this board now I can tell you that your 1917 date is in fact …………………..A fact,in fact unless the Military Cross my grandfather was awarded in 1919 at Archangel was a figment of his and the British army’s imagination.
