It seems more on my Ipad than on my Main Tower compute, now and on previous pages.... Strange...I never put RE in the subject box ...I just seems to come up, likewise with other peoples postings... is anybody else getting the same issue...?

Why are all the subjects suddenly become RE:

A good post highlighting a lot that many people would probably agree with.. The UK seems to rely on so much from other countries, yes it probably is cheaper but relying on too much from others is always open to abuse and danger of supply being raised it costs or stopped for whatever reason, being weather related or economics or conflicts. There seems little desire to be self sufficient of home production the past 20 years, just ship it in from wherever.. it appears, just import, and import and less export, it even seems like we import people in to the UK as well... So much has happened the last 15 years from Terrorists to mass Immigration and unaffordable housing and the prospect if interest rates rising and maybe an exit from Europe.... What the next 15 years UK average persons prospects are is anyone`s guess........ even our weather has gone crazy.... some of our posties are still wearing shorts... My MUM often said there will wacky times like this...

The U.S. Dow ended down 250 points Not a good Omen for the UK opening tomorrow...

Positive reaction at the moment to USA rate increase .... all banks appear up today .. Could be the start needed for any Xmas rally... Short trading week next week ..finish early next Thursday. May the Force be with us for next year... ATB

Regarding your Omen point I know what you where getting at.. I just made me think of the film of the same name.. But then maybe the Devil has been at work on the RBS shares the past 10 months... That would be a spooky Omen. See how the SP finish's tomorrow .. and if the Fed put up their rate before the UK market closes

The trouble is Predicting one thing ... Is hard enough if not impossible. Predicting Based on something else is even harder... .facts of past history is no guarantee of predicting the future as circumstances constantly change.. Analysts who predict are often unreliable ... Yes, the Omen you could right... I think it was a Gregory Peck film.. CNBC USA channel pundit mention there is plenty of money on the sidelines to be invested. May get a Xmas rally yet between now and the NewYear. The Dow is up 206 points at the moment .. As I posted yesterday a lot going on in the world and next year could well very interesting for many reasons and possible outcomes.. And those that like evened numbered years 2016 is in their favour... See what tomorrow brings... Take each day as it come now... Get back is above the 300p mark is the first hurdle..

Let's hope so... Omens come in many forms.. We are back to that patience is needed mode more than ever at the moment.. . This said we appear to be in troubled times with terrorism and immigration and if the interest in the UK leaving the Europe community and a possible interest rise in the UK next year .. A lot of changes could make 2016 a interesting if not a different year.. Keep the thoughts and debates going folks.. ATB

Hi all... Agree with your last post jings to traveller ... Maybe still a chance of a Xmas rally of some sort ..see if a US rate rise this week happens, it might start to gee things up.. and open up a hopefully better 2016.. As we all know most 2 years in a row are not alike.. Good luck everyone...

House prices are falling, unemployment is rising ... More so with the younger generation... Less loans and mortgages are needed... Indirect taxation is increasing... Utility bills are too high based on ability to pay with many on the average wage of 23k and below..... By all means YOU can personally buy as many Lloyds shares as you like...
