Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Evening everyone. I drove past both an Amazon and Ocado in Bristol today and it got me thinking about whether AFC could provide power to large warehouses in place of main electricity.
My first thought was to power the actual warehouses, but then it occured to me that they could also charge their vast fleets of vans if they went to electric vehicles.
What are your thoughts on this?

Lovely little RNS to wake up to this morning. Not the best kept secret, but shows great progress.
I have to say that I agree with Hotchip on this. I really do see HW points and understand his selling rationale, but it's not necessary or professional to make the comments he has about the people he has spoken about in a negative light. Refer to them by all means, but don't name them, we can work that out for ourselves.
I do believe that right now HW is pushing PHE through to the next stage, but I'm not sure the comments he makes are becoming of someone leading the push. He certainly is an interesting character and someone I'm looking at and thinking do I or don't I trust them. His decision to sell doesn't spook me, if anything it makes sense, so I'm looking forward to this companies development. Just wish he was more Warren Buffet and less Elon Musk.
Faith in PHE, faith in the product, long and strong.
Look what happened......I got so excited I couldn't finish my sentence.
I was trying to say expertise within the broker
Escala,
I'm suggesting different brokers valuing Ocado from 600p to 2800p is quite some difference of opinion. I asked if brokers were regulated and I think the Ocado example is a good one in terms of how wildly these targets can differ. If they were 600p to 1000p I'd understand. 619p is of course dam near bang on to the lower end of the brokers valuation, but how on earth can there be such a wide difference in opinion to value them as high as 2800p. Surely if regulated a body would have challenged this.
Bringing this back to AFC, I've seen targets of 16p - 18p and then as high as 195p........and not that far between in terms of when they were issued. I'm simply curious as to how targets can be so different yet not checked. Yes I understand it's an opinion based on expertise within
To be honest I've never paid much attention to brokers before, but I would love to know legally and ethically how their targets are managed. Are they paid by AFC, do they invest themselves?
My thoughts are if they continue to re-evaluate or stick to a certain recommendation, are they regulated (you'd assume so given its the LSE), and are they challenged so that it is realistic. I remember until recently Ocado were priced anywhere between 600p and 2700p roughly. Now look at them.
Evening all,
I see a lot of different views on this BB, quite rightly, but was interested to hear what you all think on the broker targets.
Peel Hunt, the last time I checked, were qouting 195p and put a video out a while ago about how positive the pipeline looked for AFC products. I read recently that they reaffirmed their "buy" recommendation based on enquiries. Of course this is all dependant on orders being made, but how do you feel about Peel Hunt in their evaluation of AFC?

Slightly random, but I've just seen an advert for a Guy Martin documentary on C4. It's about "the next industrial revolution" and our energy bills. I wonder if hydrogen energy gets a shout out. If Guy is looking into it then surely we are on to a winner.........any promotion of green energy is good in my book.
Just an FYI this isn't a post about being positive or negative about AFC, just the sector.
Enjoy
I'm so glad I topped up yesterday.......I'm filling my boots because at this low a SP a tiny change is a big %. Mr Market is certainly having a positive day today.
Great to see the point of views from you all so thank you. Personally I think it still has potential, but not with this BoD. I am only holding because it's not worth selling for the lose I'd have to take. I'd rather take and punt and lose than sell and be right.
So, we've been back listed for a whole day..........and I'm going to ask it............what is a fair guess for the share price over the next 12 months?
I have no expectations, but if I remember rightly were we around 8p a share when we transfer to the HKSE? Could we see this again or even more?
All views welcome

Deep down I've always had my investment in this company earmarked for something else so I'm very pleased to be back on the HKSE, but I'm also secretly optimistic that it might actually have a future beyond my initial get out price. The only question I have is how on earth have the two at the top got away with this. Forget how many shares they own, how can the market allow them to still be in power.
Thanks for the confirmation of my point Gitfinger
At the risk of being ripped apart for having my own view on a forum (who knew that's what they are for) I really do think this company is going places and the tech IS good. ABB wouldn't get involved if they didn't see a future. The question is are we going to see an increase in the SP, be bought out or just simply plod along. I like most want news, but I'm also comfortable waiting until 2023......then we do need answers. I'm also in a company from China and they have been suspended for 18 months.......with no news at all until recently, so think ourselves lucky.
Aaaand here comes me the trolls.
Gf I'd agree it feels like the bottom is roughly here. The future looks amazing in my eyes though and that is why I am sticking around. Even set up a junior ISA for my 2 year old nephew with 47k shares as I'm that confident it will be a success.
Good tech, multiple sites announced.......just need some progress now.
If it was 18 months of being suspended at the September mark, and 18 months is the limit before being delisted, when do we expect to be back on the market.......if we get relisted.
Hi everyone. I just checked my share dealing account and it gives m the option to sell CNEL and gives me a quote with HK rates and everything. Can anyone else sell theirs or is it likely that this is purely an order that would be executed once it's not suspended?
Awesome, thanks
Apologies if this sounds stupid but where are you getting the updates from as I only use Stockopedia and don't have the Chinese markets as an option. Are you simply going on the company website or is there a reliable 3rd party website that shows updates.........I can't find anything about them on Google.
Thanks Dr A, just needed a bit of context as to his background and that helped.
I am heavily invested in AFC so knew of him, but not enough about his background. I assume he had a lot to do with Mr Yeo joining as he was previously at AFC and that didn't work out either did it. Glad he went.
