MM said he asked major shareholders about whether they should accept 170p most said no, jupiter held 10% so why they selling on the cheap now. It makes no sense..

These banks, advisors etc shouldnt get any bonuses. You only have to laugh.

Its a long term hold now hoping sonething happens.

If the deal is less than 170p and is silly offer, investors will never forgive him. Its all good blaming lawyers, banks, advisors and large holders for not accepting 170p but if co fails its on you, MM....

One thing MM said, along the lines if another similar bids comes in will the conversation be different, he replied he didnt know.

Maybe another offer to test the waters, alot maybe happy to sell.

Matt did say something along the line if we ask the shareholders again if another bid came in will they say something different, i dont know. He said genuine bids came in,

If i was an private equity firm i would come in and offer 160p, see what happens. I think alot more will say yes regardless how great the future of the company is.

Then the PE can sell divisions separately and make billions.

Largest volume ever for thg, didnt even get this when takeover offer came.

thats all they can do, no company will pay 4X share price in current climate.

they did say if similar offer came now the shareholder appetite maybe different they dont know.

At current stage no one will pay 170p a share for the company, the company should continue to delivery they need the sp to recover this will take time. Next 12 months are important.

Me personally MM thinks he still in charge of private company yes he built it but now its public company, he needs to step down.

THG are a laughing stock at the moment, rejected 170p and now trading at 40p all in space of 3 months. Even us die hards need to question this.

i dont think they will hit 2.7bn revenue target for the 2022 year also, they also stated they are absorbing inflationary cost, so that is hitting them hard. CF neutral in 2023 that too far down the line only after h1 2023 can we know..

that takeover question still gets me, taking the blame away from themselves, they say they asked large shareholders and advisors who all said dont sell for that price.

Playing dangerous game, in my view best thing to do is hold for 12 months and see if they were right, could still **** it up.

Even if they were using loans to buy thg how did that effect shareholders? shareholders would have been paid and moved on..
