To buy an company with 5000bopd, will cost around £85m+?

With 85m they can increase production greater than 5000bopd.

But like tony says with company mentioned they can get instant production and tax perks.

I too dont fancy buybacks or a special divi, get on with clearwater. They are budgeted upto $72 oil price. The additional income from higher oil price should goto clearwater. We shall see.

They also have 100m in bank and no debt.

We are undervalued for sure, 2nd half of 2023 oil prices will increase, so we will have decent h2.

I say we start drilling those clearwater wells, accelerate on them. $1m a pop is not bad..

Remember every $1 increase in wti from $72 is imcrease of $1.3m to NOI

Id rather they spend on clearwater than give special divi, quartely divi is enough.

With oil expected to be around $90 by end of sept, if that happens you can bet this will not be trading at 13p.

I would take c.20p...

I3e has 2P reserves which can last 25 years, if they stop the divi they can pay of debt in 3-4 years and the remaining 20 years of profit for fun.

Private company should buy it.

I3e is not fairly valued at present almost valued at $1 per barrel of 2P reserves which is not right..
