Tax year end is Dec 31st in lots of countries like the USA.

There are only a handful that have year end on April 5th.

It’s certainly an interesting market at the moment. I don’t think ai is anywhere close to being a real bubble like dot com was.

And yet we must remember that once the RNS drops for the signing of the MSC-Cargill commercial agreements, the SP could and should 10x in a matter of days.

That’s pretty much the only thing still keeping us all here.

I’m really hoping for some mega-bullish guidance on this MSC agreement.

Maybe something like “It’s so close I can taste!”

I can’t see any trades yesterday afternoon at 3p, so how do the MMs manage to make the closing trade at 3p, showing an 11% gain for the day?

It’s annoying, as today, the “drop” will probably be artificially and needlessly bigger than it should be.

I was in the same camp as Vince but have used the many opportunities to average down at the silly cheap levels, and now I’m much happier, albeit with a significantly larger investment than I should have.

That being said, this last few months, waiting for the MSC/Cargill agreements to be signed, and hearing nothing from the other projects, has been the most annoying period so far.

15p for me, and I’ll be £1,000,000 up on my investment.

Not sure even that will feel like a big enough reward for the last 12+ years of following this stock daily!!

Let’s hope we all get there.

For clarity, by “their man” I mean someone from the industry who will know the intricacies of shipping, fuel supply etc. I’m not suggesting they had a hand in his hiring, but you never know!

Wow, what a lovely start to the week. Peter sure looks like a perfect fit for Quadrise.

One would imagine that he must know lots of people over at MSC and possibly Cargill too.

I don’t want to sound rampey but maybe this is why the signing of the agreements has been held up. I can imagine MSC/Cargill wanting “their man” in place before they sign on the dotted line.

The ask rockets up or dumps down when some kids in their bedroom executes a tiny trade for a few pence or pounds.

These free trade apps are very annoying for this.

Maybe MSC are purposely delaying in order to start their ships using MSAR just before the fines kick in. That way maybe they hope other shipping companies will all start getting fined and MSC will gain a competitive advantage.

To further think about scenarios, MSC might then buy Quadrise and be in a position to be supplying all the fuel to their competitors. A bit like Tesla selling access to its supercharger network to their competitors.

Yes, great work SC! Impressive stuff!

Any new CEO who has done their homework on QED’s history is likely to say “I’ll take the job once you’ve got the MSC trial all signed off and commencing. “

Not worth taking the job unless there’s something big in the pipeline.

Valid points SC and also valid points from a simple investor.

I’m sure QED could produce enough fuel themselves to supply a small UK, cement works, marine operator or fishing fleet with just a few boats.

There must be something that can be done in order to have a couple of actual real customers.

15+ years and nothing much to show for it is getting a bit ridiculous.

I shudder to think who much money might be in my pension and ISAs now if I’d gone down other investing pathways rather than having a significant percentage of it wrapped up in QED all that time.

I’m still confident we will all make it, but it’s getting amazingly frustrating.

As I’ve said before, if it were my company, I’d be doing a deal with a small power generator or small marine company, to let them use our fuel for a heavily discounted price, so we make a tiny profit. It’d be cheaper, more efficient & greener for the company to burn than their current fuel, and it’d get us off the ground with a real “commercial” use case.

Then it’d be far easier to sell the MSAR products to other companies as you already have a user who’s telling others how good it is.

I’m not sure why Quadrise has never done this. Maybe they’ve tried?
