The way I see things for OBT in 2017 and especially 2018 is as follows. Forestry will be ramped up and profits will grow with scale up. Agriculture has lagged behind I suspect from lack of funds. The funding is now in place to ramp that up too. I await news on agri business with anticipation. Present management have really got to grips with OBT and now we have just two arms/branches both of which should do well. I think Sp of 40p this year end would be about right but difficult to assess until we get some figures to work on. But I am full of optimism and why not?

Two ways to look at this. Yes we should be worried as cut off appears to have passed. No we should not be worried as no news probably means loose ends being tied up before and announcement. Funding situation sorted or a take over?

Hi skram6 - a Prosperous New Year to you. I too hold both OBT and GDP both as recovery stocks (my favourite) on the back of reorganisation and management changes. OBT if all goes to plan will be a much more substantial company in future years and GDP is protected to some extent from the fluctuations in the POG. GDP is growing slowly and organically whereas OBT now has the funding to really push ahead with it Agri arm.
