Firstly I am back to being a longterm holder as I love the dividend. I also trade a little I like to BUY around the 500p mark and sell anywhere between 550p and 600p.Of course that means I have added some circa 500p recently and will sell these anywhere north of 550p. I keep 5000 shares longterm and top up to max 10,000 shares. Serves me well.

You could be right however 2019 given Brexit and Auto sales declines is unlikely to be stellar.I have added 200 more this morning to collect the massive dividend and will hold at least for a while. This is a splendid company.

What is interesting to me is the huge increase of urbanisation in Africa and the huge Chinese involvement. good for Obtala. I think a takeover is some way off if they want to maximise the sale price?

Yes I agree. Getting shot of the Agri business is excellent news and new trading capital for Timber trading is also required. Should indeed be transformational.

Good question. Stock very volatile for no obvious reason. I am adding on the dips and today am back in profit. What is going on I have NO idea but it seems undervalued. Prospect of Brexit maybe not helping?

GDP in the current market? Gold is steadily climbing higher and likely to continue that trend in the coming year. True the SP is shocking but GDP is still a profitable company and will eventually come good. Yes the waiting seems interminable but a rising Gold Price should do wonders for the bottom line. No news re Kili maybe they have managed a deal after all or are waiting to see if after all the promises it can be made profitable. If it was under C&M they would have told us. It could be curtains for GKG if he gets it wrong again?

GKG is always confident but is failing to deliver? Time for heads to roll and a big shakeup required. They have taken their eye off the ball due to Kili?

The Dividend is declared in US$ so will help hedge any drop in the value of the pound sterling? I kind of agree with you - Brexit not a big problem for BP.

Yes he has deep pockets and maybe if things do not pick up he will take things private again at this price it looks a bargain. But unless he offers well into double figures most of us will be very unhappy?

and the Euro is critical for the POO. If the Euro struggles and EU refuse to accept Italy budget which seems likely then it could cause a worldwide recession? I think we will have another red day however the Euro is holding up so far against Sterling?

Not sure why you say that. Look at the number of SELLS and BUYS yesterday. 600p or just under is an obvious selling point. I sold most of mine at 598.and will repurchase if/when the market tanks which it will at some point.
