What would really help would be the restoration of a Dividend?

Not much to find I suspect. Newly formed company especially to purchase Kili. We will eventually find out who is behind them and providing funding?

Hopefully the Dividend is back in the frame?

My own view is that Martin Oii does not want to takeover GDP. He just sees the future value and what a great time to do that what with POG rising and likely to rise further. He can certainly influence things and the BOD.

Yep time to take advantage. The results were fine and 50% increase in Divi. What not to like? Have added another 1500 shares.

I agree with you but unfortunately their are signs of cuts in Gov spending and belt tightening. They promise no return to austerity but a leopard does not change it's spots. Gov borrowing is cheap and consequently no big worry.

Yes fiat currencies under pressure especially US$. That is why people are flocking to Gold. It may drop a little but will reach 2000 fairly quickly in my opinion. DYOR.

Maybe it has something to do with the news that cleaning contractors have been sacked from 2000 stores and staff will now be responsible for all cleaning? They have had a hard time and are now being asked to clean the stores which must are not happy with. Sounds to me like further cost cutting? Tesco will soon lose it reputation as a decent employer?
