Done deal?19 Feb 2019 21:10
I believe it's the 'long stop date' for the Flybe sale of assets deal that's due this Friday (22nd), in which case the deal is already done subject to 'unless the legally binding contract of sale is proven to be unsafe in law before the long stop date'.
My understanding is it's the equivalent of a 'decree absolute' in divorce or.'completion' in conveyancing (you can't change your mind after the 'decree nisi', or back out after 'exchange of contracts' because you've had a higher offer for your house!)..
IMHO & happy to be corrected!
