The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Rxdav - I am same as you. I sold £50,000 of Tesla shares Jan 2020 because 1. I had just read an article in New Scientist about a mysterious illness in Wuhan (the first article about Covid anywhere) I even sent a screenshot to my mates whatsapp group and said Pandemic 2020? 2. I thought if this kicks off then the markets will self destruct - so I pulled out of everything apart from 2 small oilers. MATD AND BLOE and GGP....then because I had the cash there averaged down on the oulers. What a fool. Both have cost me. Thankfully GGP has been a winner and will keep giving for years to come.
Should have let the Scottish crew takeover and got out.
Wasted 3 yrs of my life here and the opportunity cost probably in the £100,000s given I would usually have been in tech stocks prior to Covid. Then someone turned my head to this shambles.....wish I had bloody ignored it completely and not averaged down.
Like dogsh*t on your hands no matter how much you wash them you still have the smell on your hands for hours. Thankfully I've also been in GGP keeping me just below evens.
Get rid of PH, hopefully BA1 will work out, and pray this shambles comes together for you all. Every single update I have waited patiently for good news and this was meant to be the one to push off - well enoughs enoughs. Know when to throw in the towel. This is it.
My thoughts exactly mjs - I think flow rates are better than expected but he wants to give as much time to make sure the well continues that rate before informing us. If he says we've been testing for 3 weeks at 750bopd initially choked back to 695bopd for 21 day average would be a solid update.
The extended silence does allow for slippage in WoM....too many contractors and people know the flow rates as of today, unless they keep it to a small circle. Who knows.
But you don't make a video of the testing period for nothing that's for sure
I agree....we'll see a re-rate on decent results but nothing stratospheric because of sentiment. But I'd rather legup slowly with good fundamentals in place.
If this drill has gone well....no reason why the next Baker Hughes well won't. Also if they could hit oil 30yrs ago by guessing....surely now we should hit moderately easily. No?
Block wouldn't have made a flashy video to show testing is happening if this was dry as a bone. They know it's good, it's how good. I bet they'll be bang on target about 500 and that will bring confidence that the next drill will be the same.
Go Bloe Go
He knows tomorrow is a critical interview for the company and value. The legal team will be all over vetting the questions asked so he gives the appropriate legal responses I am sure - so don't be suprised if he is a bit careful. An RNS of the current well situation BA and 16 will be a good idea tomorrow morning so he doesn't let slip in the interview things that haven't been disclosed.
