@ Mr Tibbles yes we can agree on that. I was just reading an article in the Spectator by Ross Clark The future of the Euro is uncertain. You may find interesting. I have no axe to grind with the European Union months I spend months at a time in Spain my three nearest neighbours are German I like them all though they make me laugh as they don't all like each other and have been known to call each other stasi. The one thing we got told off for by the Germans which is quite funny really they said we where to open handed when it came to paying our community money and made it to easy for their compatriot who was the community leader to rip us all off. In fact the Germans had a big fight at the side of one of the pools which landed in a court case. From what I could see from my neighbours who where all nationalities the Norwegians seemed to be the ones most at ease with their lot and certainly had plenty of money.
RE: Thoughts about how long oil is a valid investment?11 Apr 2021 11:14
When I can following rules I intend to fly on holiday. Go on cruises and drive my car I will not be changing my car not because I don't want to help the planet I do. But I also want to live a life and for me and alot of people like me this is what retirement hopefully looks like so that includes oil.

Mr Tibbles but you live in UK silly silly. I live in the UK and love it. When I live in Spain I enjoy it very much. Surprisingly lots of Germans Italians Spanish Greeks choose to live in the UK. You obviously live in a very different part of the UK than I do with different people.Or maybe have a different mind set. You asked me to listen to Alisdair McLeod I did I suggest you listen to him he as different thoughts than you about the EU but then again if it doesn't fit your agenda your not interested. Anyway enough of this I've read your reprints enough times now. So good luck on Monday let's hope share price goes up.

Hi Arthur I agree I don't care what the Germans do or any of the EU that's the point I have alot of friends of different nationalities who where my neighbours in Spain for twenty years thats the point Mr Tibbles mentions Brexit every week it doesn't matter what the topic is he blames it on Brexit so occasionally I come back to just level the playing field a little. I get a little tired of him continually and I mean continually saying how bad the UK is. You mean to say we are a failing empire but what Germany never failed at anything.

Hi Mr Tibbles I have started to watch j99 finding it a bit long winded but interesting. I notice how your thoughts on the B word are different from Alasdair McLeod he seems to feel the E U are looking decidedly shaky at the moment funnily enough I said to you a few weeks ago tell it to the Italians tell it to the Greeks how good it all is and that's who he mentions being on very dangerous ground. I notice he also mentions France not looking to good. The Germans doing ok getting the pipeline sorted with Russia. Sorry but had to say something this week I did very well last week when you said we where the baddies . Mr Bond should have been proud of me. Anyway from what I have seen upto now looking positive for gold may go back to it when more time. Take care Lynn

@Spindler In Cheshire when we have our walks and drives there are massive amounts of new houses going up all 4/5 bedroom detached outside always at least two cars I just think how are these young people affording all this. What happens if it's all on help to buy .Anybody else noticed how many new cars there are what happens to all the older cars because there doesn't appear to be any round here.
Hope you right upshunt. Read everything this morning and it's all as clear as mud. On that note will now go catching crabs in the sunshine with my gran kids. Caught forty yesterday like everything else in life it's having the right bait. So let's hope we have the right bait!
