Agree Doc, because for the last 2 years all the projections that I have seen on this board have been hopelessly optimistic. As I said, I think this will trundle along between 58 and 78p between now and the end of the year, hope I am wrong and that we are back up at 90p within a few weeks, but the market is ignoring all the "good" news and I don't see a near term catalyst for that to change

If you can't differentiate between factual statements and forecasts I am not the man to help you...

Maybe you could go back to 1962 and analyse movements in the O&G sector and see what that tells you about what will happen to TXP in the next 6 months - look forward to the compelling analysis. Look, it has been a great share over 5 years, a crap share over 2 years and an even worse share over the 4 weeks / does that cover all the required views?

Doc, agree it is de risked, but I don't have an agenda and 5 years retrospective analysis is not a particularly relevant timeframe when considering investments today

Guesswork and Negativity ?! My forecasting on TXP has been much more accurate than 90% of posters on this board this week, sadly not so accurate on the Synthomer board lol Don't confuse factual statements for negativity when it does not suit your message - or did the share prices rise with the wonderful news today ??!!

Because I bought back in from the high 60's to high 50's this year and I think it is important that people considering investing now don't just listen to the £1 when the gas flows community. I will probably continue to hold as TXP is now

de-risked in my view, even though the days of £1, £2 and £3 that are often discussed are a very long way away

And if there is further delay in ramping up the flow rates, any operational issues or technical problems the share price will drop to low 60's/high 50's and when good flow rates are confirmed the share will only move up to mid 70's - the market has spoken and TXP will probably not re-rate until sometime in 2024

This is the floor price give or take 10% does not sound like a great vote of confidence. It's not my timeframes which have been missed, it's TXP's own timeframes which have been missed and also the market's timeframes. This was why I said the other day that the RNS on Thursday would be underwhelming. There is no sight of this reaching £1 any time soon, let alone the 94p high of the other week. We may all think it should be different, but that don't make it so, sadly. The fact is TXP share price has disastrously underperformed for the last 2 years and despite the gas flowing continues to do so.

John, you miss the point, I would not have expected to be in September and have no material data on flow rates or the robustness of forward projections, the market appears to think like I do so while everyone congratulates TXP the share price goes down

Well I didn't expect positive, but I didn't expect this, can't even fathom immediately what this means, no specific explanation of why trading is so poor or what is happening to market share but lot's of specifics about give us more

cash. On the plus side the major shareholders are supportive, but won't be investing further until the dust settles

No I don't know the flow rates and by early September I would have expected to know the flow rates, hence it is a trickle as the flow rates are not confirmed, hence why it is underwhelming as I thought it would be and hence why the market has said so what, we knew this was coming

As expected RNS today, as expected underwhelming, as expected market says so what, more a trickle of gas and cash than a wall of gas and cash, at least they are operational but the re-rate will take months

Although I am exasperated with many things about TXP, Paul is one of the few CEO's who backs himself with his own salary every month, kudos to the guy. Don't think the RNS timing is anything special, just following on from the return to work in Canada today

Assuming there is no profit warning tomorrow in advance of the results, I would not have thought the results and outlook on Thursday will be that adverse for the share price. I dabbled here in the 70's and 80's and got out more or less break even but will look to buy in tomorrow and double down and more later this week after the results if the opportunity presents. Chemicals have always been cyclical and I feel between here and 50p must be the bottom with massive upside over the next 2-3 years.

I am holding as a long suffering optimist, all be it with reduced exposure

Sorry to hear about your crap day Lexion, it's a hard job you have, harder than TXP's! I know the upsides are not reflected in the share price, but they are mainly known and therefore I think the market has priced them as is for the time being, that's my concern that there is no a lot to move the needle as the market wants to see 6 months of strong cash flow, given all the false dawns. We are all hoping for no sudden nasty surprises for sure! Hope tomorrow is better out in the fields
