My only (can’t even really call it this)issue with your post is to do with the ASX and specifically “where are all the shares for the institutional investors going to come from?”
RNS states possible 2.5% increase in shares: that won’t be enough imv.
So that leaves possibly some of Newmont holding but Wyloo have 1/2(?) of that reserved. Maybe they can just buy their portion and immediately make a profit by selling on the ASX. However those shares are potentially locked in.
I heard mention of a scrip deal but what company is being looked at?
Anyone have any better/other ideas ? as, imho, not having enough shares to reasonably satisfy the demand, whilst great for present shareholders, won’t go down well down under , if you know what I mean.
