Surely if projects do not hit the criteria they are just asked to reapply.

So an Act designed to speed up the and make the process more efficient proves itself to be inefficient if no announcement before the summit itself.. Commenting on how long it takes for decisions under CRMA to be made

Coming imminently. Dyor, but I fully expect the decision on project status by Tuesday lunch time at the latest. Why? Because if no decision by then, when the summit attendees sit down for their dinner on Tuesday night they will all be comm noting on how long it takes for them Hesse decisions to be made. Obviously this is a pump and I have a low average and I could be completely wrong

Another scenario.

1) So Matml states(I don’t know ,so I will go with his understanding) if greater than 20% holding on ASX, a bid for the company will need to be made

2) Newmont already at 20%

3) Newmont locked in for 4 years

4) In 4 years time Havieron in production and resource proved up to be a Tier 1 play. If that fits Newmont’s description of a Tier1..

5) Newmont make offer

It is good to have someone play devil’s advocate raising possible concerns( well for me anyway) but dyor to reach your investment decision but revisit that decision when new info comes to light. Also never take investment decisions based purely on an internet forum and especially me as I am not qualified to give you any.This is not investment advice.

We can all make future scenarios to fit our hopes or fears. Whatever happens , I am as confident as I can be that I will come out significantly better off from my investment in GGP than as it presently stands.

Personally I think you will struggle to find a better BOD anywhere but that is my take. There are many knowledgeable posters on this board so hopefully they will put your concerns to rest

Anyway , even if it happens, in say 10 years , you can still hold ASX securities in your Sipp and ISA. Maybe increased dealing charges and fx considerations but not really an issue. As other posters have said “ if you don’t trust the board ,get out and find a company you trust” and if you find a better prospect please let me know. As in life , dyor, and remember your decisions are your decisions and nobody else’s

Thx. I was not sure how it could work as I expect it to be different MMs on the ASX but brokers already buying makes sense

My only (can’t even really call it this)issue with your post is to do with the ASX and specifically “where are all the shares for the institutional investors going to come from?”

RNS states possible 2.5% increase in shares: that won’t be enough imv.

So that leaves possibly some of Newmont holding but Wyloo have 1/2(?) of that reserved. Maybe they can just buy their portion and immediately make a profit by selling on the ASX. However those shares are potentially locked in.

I heard mention of a scrip deal but what company is being looked at?

Anyone have any better/other ideas ? as, imho, not having enough shares to reasonably satisfy the demand, whilst great for present shareholders, won’t go down well down under , if you know what I mean.

True but to apply they only needed to give comprehensive details of how they will achieve it, not necessarily already have achieved it

Possibly a scam , probably not. Seems like a relationship with Bechtel.The Extrakt process is not theirs it has been developed by an American company based in Kentucky and is being trialled by other companies apart from Fulcrum. Look what CAML achieved going through mining waste. Gone for a smallish punt at this stage

Hiya.Does anyone know if Caml still have their interest in a project in Chile or did that get dropped?

Did anyone receive any AAU shares from the winding up of Starvest , after the distribution of GGP shares? I certainly didn’t and my emails to the winding up company seem to go into a big black hole.
