A bit younger but getting close to my retirement target age , gone back a few years since divorce but I am back on track.
Guys the market is spooked with the covid cure just on look at other companies that is reliant on a captive audience. I hope we have a spring in the morning with results as I am going to sell PFD remainder if it gets near 110-112. I am sure PFD will keep moving upwards but much steady now a cure is in the pipeline I am more interested in shares that pays a divi which is why I have speculated back on banks in the last few week. Must admit my timing was spot on here for a change.

Surely everyone on here is an investor buddy ? Personally I am very happy with the sale of hovis as I am looking to take more short term profit from PFD very soon.

took some healthy profit & still left some in but thanks for asking but SFE still keeping my eye on as a very buoyant market. Watch this space as I think there is still room for a quick buck.

I agree shocking RNS as this just causes people to speculate. But Italians pulled out & I guess as bid exceeded their £100 mill limit. Perhaps we should start a sweep on final sale price !

Personally bread sales are just buoyant due to lockdown & when/if things return back to normal bread sales will steady in fact i believe more people are slowly moving away from mass produced bread & suggest sales may have peaked & will probably decline over the next few years.

Hovis is not exactly bread to me anymore its just a pulpy doughy mix. I think we have all been spoilt with so much choice these days.

I have been keeping eye on banks LLOY & NWG I think they have bottomed & started to turn round with talks of re-introduction of divis ,I sold a lot prior to pandemic so keen to get back in , divis prior to this gave 6-7% yield. When back to normal I will be moving back into more blue chip companies to get my reg income back again . Big in BOO currently but even with an outstanding report share price still dropped so i may just treat myself like dogger ! Yep lots to think about if I do free up some cash but 100 + still pinching myself
