FENSA & GGF has just made the surveying rules a little clearer. Business as usual .
Once deaths down & vaccinations up I think safestyle will fly as their basic performance & forecast are very achievable.

It has been confirmed that surveys are allowed under current restrictions so business as usual . This has always been the case but the industry has made this part more clear. Sales are always slow in the industry in Jan . Industry still struggling with supply chain issues & shortage of fitters to complete booked work. I think we are in for a rosy 2021 once covid under control .
Looking at EU vaccination programme going down the pan I can see people going on hols & prob staying closer to home so more spare cash to spend on home improvements . I saw the watchdog programme the other night & all large businesses are suffering with backlog of service work , yes those jobs were poor but I have never seen water pouring down a house like that . Either the fire service was there with their hose or maybe the guttering was broken. Must have killed the BBC to say all probs were sorted prior to programme. Sooner we don't have to pay for the license the better.

Not sure why anyone would want to criticise someone method of investing, each to their own , I knew traders from my city days in the 80's who go got blind drunk at lunchtime had the old snort of something return to the office & make more money than than when they was sober. I can relate to 300 as along term holder of PFD I think once it gets above 115-120 I am completely out as I feel it will keep on growing but not at recent pace I just feel there are much better recovery shares out there with more potential .

Dividends still a way off but sure the topic is discussed in the PFD boardroom these days without anyone laughing.

irrelevant now it looks like we are going to lose ground today no new 52 wk high today for sure . I think SP would struggle with a takeover bid even in this climate. You know what they say you got to know when to hold them know when to fold them & know when to walk away ! I think a hold em scenario today !

Wow. sales as expected really but it's the negatives the city want to see some movement on ,net debt down & at this rate may be cleared by end of 2021 maybe next announcement we may see plans for divis ,in usual times the sp would rocket with a trading announcement like this! with new positive covid results dropping like a stone in all London boroughs & vaccinations now creeping up to 350k a day perhaps we may have a good day in the morning. As I said this will be an outstanding update but tough to call .

This is now I would expect the SP to behave on the eve of a great trading result , I think I have missed my chance 1st thing this morning. Mind you whole market very muted today !

The problem is there are people in the UK that would rather the vaccination fails the economy collapses etc so they could tell you I told you so ! I just never knew there were so many crackerjacks out there. Remoaners , loonie lefties etc its actually quite terrifying . I bet sandwich boards & bells was very high on their Christmas wish list ! But yep Monday figures will be very interesting just need to see hospital admissions & deaths falling to see some real positive movement in cine !

expecting an exceptional report from PFD on all fronts on the 19th but not an exceptional move on sp . Unfortunately nowadays you also have to factor in covid , lockdown , deaths etc crazy times . I bet once we hit 15 Million vaccinations in the UK the market will go crazy well thats my theory ! still looking for an opportunity of PFD to sell prior to 19th or shortly after release on the 19th. I bet their will be an opportunity to buy back in . Not my normal trading style but you have to adapt in these times.

must admit that is a sound thought process it just appears these day the market has already factored the contents of reports before its issued . watching PFD very closely until trading report on the 19th . If it gets up to 114 i may take take some profit prior to report as well.

I used to work for unilever back in the day & was the production planner for the bachelors line in Ashford Kent before it being sold to premier foods god that was 20 years ago ! Have taken plenty of profit out of PFD now but this was my oldest holding ever. Ploughed some of my profits into boo in the low 200's so have plenty of profit tied into Boo currently & will take some more when it hits 400+. I do not think Boo will suffer many more drastic drop like today & BOO with improved supply chain & auditor this is being touted as one of the shares to look out for 2021 . Doc Martin s maybe another one of my nostalgia buys !

why do you need an update form SFE its the government guidelines everyone need to follow.
Nice jump in price before end of trading it would be nice to see it stick before close. Window & door installers are classified as construction so they can still fit work. The one thing I am hearing thru the grapevine that self employed fitters are still staying at home to protect their family & I do know some installer who ask their guys to download track & trace app & have had several teams come a cropper. Installer still have lots of work to do just not enough fitters to fit it all. Light at the end of the tunnel with vaccination programme then we will see fireworks.. Not sure where you get 20% in sales Hifive but January is a slow month usually .

if you had Said that year ago Pernix about PFD I would have said you was of your rocker . A reality maybe sometime but no longer fantasy ! Did anyone see Boohoo update this morning share price still dropped on that fantastic trading result. In current climate who knows what you need to report to impress the city ! I did well at last PFD update & managed to sell my holding before it dropped into the 80's where I bought back in. I can believe this would happen again but looking at Boo it makes you review your tactics. Deja vu ?

Knob you have nothing to gloat about this is how the market works the price is steadily recovering & as you can a serious investor has a back up plan ! Buffer with you there I believe we won't see the full impact of this today due to height of covid but once signs of vaccination working boo will pick up even more momentum.
