Safestyle are the number 1 in England & wales by a country mile only Anglian gets close to them in the domestic sector .
There will always be room for a DIY option but you know need to get all replacement products signed of to building regs via building control where I live it can be a much as £500 ( south london) so by the time you have fitted the product yourself or builder you then have to get builtin control involved . May as well get a competent person member involved who can fit & certificate it at the same time. Its like buying a kit car rather than a ready made car probably cheaper but will give extra hours of work. I think this will rally a little bit int he short term but it will be very interesting seeing safestyles short term trading figures. If it does not go well I may have to buy my next door at wickes ! Not in loads but thought it an interesting punt.

greece what can I say average lifespan was much higher than the rest of Europe because they used to work these out on people still collecting their pensions. Buy from Wickes get a builder to fit product then when the door breaks down or goes faulty you cant find the builder & wickes wont honour the guarantee because it has been fitted incorrectly, thats another possibility I would just suggest you get several quotes easy & pick the one out that suits you best but I think you are overthinking this simple process. Lets look at finance industry scenario you go a fancy office see someone like neil woodford & you are so impressed with his presentation & surroundings you pump a a vast sum into his fund. Guys if you are having replacement windows & doors installed use a FENSA registered business as your installation will be certified to building which has been law since 2002 & the FENSA cert comes with an IBG which is an insurance policy which protects the guarantee if the business goes pop . if done by you own hand you will only have yourself to blame ! Looking at the FENSA website they have issued over 14 million certs from 2002 & there are other similar schemes out there ! This industry is bigger than people think ! Happy with my recent investment & I think with the recent stamp duty freeze is going to help the home improvement sector to recover & grow very quickly in the short time.

well 1st Everest are no longer trading . Everest target market was more highbrow than safe style but don't worry the Everest brand has risen from the flames as Everest 2020 i am sure it much smaller format. Another potential positive for safestyle if people are looking for a recognised brand who have a track record.

This industry has started of very strong & the home improvements sector I am sure will be one of the 1st to recover to normal levels.. Safestyle have had a tough time of late with breakaway company safeglaze but they are no longer & sure safestyle will bounce back to previous sales levels. Everest went bump during this pandemic but as far as I am concerned completely different animal to safestyle. Who knows what investors will do but who would pull out on the biggest domestic installer in the sector .

i work in the industry & the home improvements sector has stated with a bang after lockdown relaxed, the government is releasing details of a scheme tonight for homeowner on how to get grants to improve their properties thermal performance so it will be a huge plus for businesses in this sector . Just got back into SFE 1st thing monday & very happy already.

Is the increase in price anything to do with people re-investign their cash back ? I have been so focussed on the returns i have taken my eye of the ball. Must admit have been keeping an eye on my other dog PFD which has turned into a bit of a pedigree in the last 3 months. After 2nd cash return what are people views on this business prospects ?

Dogger agreed its amazing what you get used use to being a PFD holder I half expected price to drop rapidly even with great report. So pleased PFD did not play out its usual story .

I am fairly confident history will not repeat itself this time . I am selling half my holding if it hits 70 sorry i mean when it hit s70 then will roll the dice on the rest.
