Spoons share had a nice jump this week Parallel to government offer a steak & beer under a fiver now that’s is good value still very busy in London my own local say they are nearly up 30% in last 4 wks with no food , not sure how the rest of Outer Mongolia doing though

Even though no surprises in the RNS it did give some finer detail but seemed to settle the nerves in the city. We was obviously made of sterner stuff when i worked on the trading floor in the late 80's happy days shiny suit , thin tie , mullet & a phone the size of my head . I can't see much swing in current climate not until updated report at end of the week. I have sold approx 60% of my holding but to be fair there is not a lot out there I fancy at the moment , i had a dabble with Boo but my bank manager must be very pleased at the moment, but need to find a home for it before partner sneaks a cheeky glance at my account & wants a new car or something.

The home improvement sector is flying I know I am very close to the industry . A director leaving a company & settign up a similar business is hardly unique to this industry. Safestyle is the largest installer in the UK domestic sector & I cant see anyone toppling them of their perch. Looking very forward to their next set of results. Not my usual investment but I have done my research & good to see trading activity increasing. This will be a short term investment for me rather than a PFD long game .

Whatever but its given me a great opportunity to buy in albeit bit late to the party , I am hoping that price will go back to SP value based purely on fundamentals only very soon.

yep small change for Tim but I guess he could buy nearly 5 million pints at his new reduced prices. Not sure what the fuss is when a director sells shares it doesn't seem to have affected the price that much but I guess you love or hate him. I am still at B/even but hoping for an upward turn when the pubs return to a regular routine my boy works part time said his branch had normal numbers in it this afternoon.

Safestyle are the number 1 in England & wales by a country mile only Anglian gets close to them in the domestic sector .
There will always be room for a DIY option but you know need to get all replacement products signed of to building regs via building control where I live it can be a much as £500 ( south london) so by the time you have fitted the product yourself or builder you then have to get builtin control involved . May as well get a competent person member involved who can fit & certificate it at the same time. Its like buying a kit car rather than a ready made car probably cheaper but will give extra hours of work. I think this will rally a little bit int he short term but it will be very interesting seeing safestyles short term trading figures. If it does not go well I may have to buy my next door at wickes ! Not in loads but thought it an interesting punt.
