Hi not sure if been discussed already, I was looking at SLP revenue split from H1/21 and was pleased to see that 60% is coming from Rh.
Since December Rh has gone up 65% this should give a good 40% increase to H1 revenue that possibly will feed straight to profit numbers....
I am also in THS but not sure if it has the same revenue split of SLP, beside the Chrome concentrate production.

I was looking at last 6 months profit and loss account.
Please anyone can explain what is the extra "Total other comprehensive income for the period (net
of tax) 20,661,835" item added to the bottom line Net Profit?!

On THS sp my entry is a current levels and to be honest when I bought, I was prepared for a small retrace in sp.
Looking at the chart the sp has raised from 40p and is consolidating on the inevitable way up. My limited research on THS was 2020 PMG prices some $1700/oz, 2021 PMG prices so far $3200 and higher.....Market fundamentals are fantastic for these metals, in particular from a political view that these are some of the left few commodities than can't be manipulated by China. This might be an overlooked factors, but I have the feeling that in long terms, it will be one of the most important one.

Have recently invested in THS and SLP thanks to tips from TigerByTheTail.
Did my usual research and decided to buy in. Thanks to all the posts on this tread and for the shared knowledge on the PGM operation and financials.

...I would add, I am going to stop making all those calculations on how much profit Fxpo is making, or will be making at this current iron ore price. I don't want to find my self keep buying more and more shares here, to the point that my portfolio is unbalanced towards only one miner. All iron ore miners are rising fast why not spread the risks....

Bought back today at 417, hopefully with troops going back the situation will defuse. Iron ore at 218 is huge and from 221 to 218 can hardly be called a retrace unvrkw. News are all over the place for this iron ore bullish prices and constrained production from the big 3 miners. Q2 is turning out to be even better than Q1 prices. I bought today but going forward won't commit too much cash on Fxpo, I am happy to have my iron ore investments spread on 3/4 miners....

fxpo sp has behaved badly during Russian troops troubles, now that they may go home seems the right moment to get in. The news are all-over the medias. I wonder if Putin now feels he doesn't need to prove anymore that he cares about Russian nationals...after the Navalny street demonstration turned out to be a flop....I was reading that half a million people were expected in the street...in the end they were 10/20000.

I read you post and can't disagree with you. In the end is difficult to quantify risks because it changes from situation to situation and also from people perception to other people perception. No doubt buying any retracement can be a great tactics but one has to be more and more sure of the outcome if more and more cash is going in one direction. Some people are as well successful investors when buying on the up, meaning more the share rise more they buy, like I did last night with GRR. I invest trying to make money no to be proven right, in other words I don't mind to be wrong as long as I make money.

It make sense if the Russian were to exert any territorial power it would be in areas closer to home....
Moreover as Crimea is their naval base and nowadays well established Russian land, it makes sense to regard it a avan-post last frontier dividing Russia with Ukraine. Meaning that for Fxpo possibly its export port should/could be safe.

I was reading today that the Russian have made a naval blockade in the strait of... And near Crimea. Sorry can't remember names it was on aljazera news. In any case all land on the east side of Crimea toward Russia (which makes strategic sense). Now if these are territories of Russia interest for any invasion, are they not concerning with the port Fxpo uses for export?

It seems the rapid gains of yesterday have all quickly evaporated. This is to be expected given the current risk attached to Ukraine and Fxpo. I mean IF and I repeat If Russia invade, we are talking about the possibility to lose it all.... Not just a small share price dropp.. There has always to a certain degree been attached a discount to fxpo sp, either for its ownership, tax evasion and/or geografic reasons. Many of us with time and carefull consideration have ventured too invest in Fxpo. In my view this risk6and sp discount will always be there even more now that the Russian what to get involved, this is one more issue attached to the others which ufficially have never gone away. I am still out and although is tenting to see a sp rise 7% in one day like yesterday, today I proove that these gains can't be maintained till the Russina issue is definetly resolved. Meanwhile my other iron ore stock invested since getting out of Fxpo are up some 20%.... I am sure I made the right decision.

Anyhow we discussed on this board about iron ore price and this supercycle on commodities expecially industrial, copper and iron ore. China an its massive steel production has given a push to iron ore price during pandemic lock down, now another sustained demand will come from US Biden 2 trillion infrastructure spending. All this demand with a backdrop of constrained supply due to many reasons including genuine limited supply, whether, and logistics. This is the perfect storm for iron ore price to go higher and higher albeit not in a straight line. Another dinamic to add to this equation is steel prices rising as well, this bodes well for allowing iron ore price (its raw material) to keep rising as well and mantain6profit margins. This is a decisive push beyond $200/t now at 221. Incredible. About Russia invading.... If I knew that I would be magic.

The joke is all miners are down but Fxpo. Now some (including me ) will enter in the conundrum of wanting to be in but seen the sp getting riskier and riskier........I will stay out to watch the sp rise let see what happen by end of the week...

My other iron ore miners are doing well and it looks my prediction on a very bullish iron ore price is materialising. I suspect after recent price jump there may be a small retrace, but maybe not given strong momentum..it seems is going from strength to strength..
