Talking about ramping hey?

Scooby quite a great assessment of different strategies, depending on the sp they bought.
I suppose been say 100% in profit and having a fund that sells shares can be seen differently in a context of rising commodities price, but been break even hand having a fund that sells, not to mention that many view the main indexes overbought.......
In any case said this before, not looking to be trusted by anyone here. I have already problems to trust my self, never mind be trusted by someone else.

Just saying that cash flow is mostly used to asses if a company as the ability to pay debits or borrowing more, like when refinancing etc.
No doubt a positive cash in flow is a good thing, but is not the best indicator to affect a sp.
Indeed possibly the best indicator has not even much to do with internal accounting of a company, but as to do with market trends of a commodity, this is why often even companies sp that make zero cash or are full of debit, shot up.
And this is why I am more focused with gas, coal price and geopolitics, rather than how much cash Tga is or will make.
In that sense though if you like to go on about cash flow, it would be useful to compare it with peers, like I and on other poster mentioned few moons ago.
But for profitability, gross and net margins, net profit, debit reduction, shares repurchase etc, can all be as much if not more useful than cash flow, it all depends on the numbers.

Well don’t embarrass yourself Lucky by ramping the hell out of this and deramping the hell out of it next . I said when you arrived that would happen and it played out. Prove differently this time !

I did not deramp Tga. Yours is a lie to keep your useless argument alive..
I simply posted that I sold out due to a SA fund selling. These are facts and I gave my reasons, after many started to question me why would I sell out. So not exactly a master plan to deramp..simply free speech.
Funny enough It all came true Tga sp dropped, hit 300p and then raised again, but this is beyond the point, I might as well be very lucky to foreseen such sp movement.......The point is that it seems to me you become the enemy of anyone, that take a slightly contrarian view on Tga and that is a bit annoying.
(by the way cash flow is one of the most useless indicator of a company financial strength)

BC it seems to me that your replies to my post are all arguments based on, me and my personality or way to go about things rather than the content related to Tga.

RIF so refreshing to read a balanced post, that also sums up so well recent events in the energy space.
I would add to your views the $ and what it will do in a stagflation environment.
Will energy prices be able to diverge from contrarian trend and rise together with the dollar?
On Gold for me it has now become a dark horse, it has disconnected from any indicator out there, and with the arrive of Crypto currency, Gold is even more difficult to read what will do.
Anyhow I read yesterday that OPEC will soon meet to re-asses the energy market. Will they rise production, will they do nothing (more likely)?

I get you point of gas price going up maks also coal price rise.
But as to be said, the oil/gas market doesn't depend only by decarbonization or under investment, as the supply is very much controlled by few big players......
Well I suppose the fact that very recently the price of coal is increasing faster than gas is a good thing.
Coal/gas price is puzzling because from the graph below, there are times when the prices converge and others when the prices diverge Blue/Red lines, although the overall long term trend is similar. Any views?

Without rising anyone suspicions or resentment with the following topic and inevitably ending up taking about, if you are in or out, if one is a trader or lth.....
I am genuinely interested and puzzled by the simultaneous rise in price of gas and coal, and wonder which one of the two will blink first or in other words with is more a long term trend of high prices.
Any thought.
A similar argument is my energy supplier offering to go on standard variable tariff as from 1st Oct. or chose a much more expensive fixed/2024 tariff.
Price relationship between gas and coal seems the key to forecast trends. At what gas price coal is more convenient, and viceversa....is there a ratio between the 2 commodities to forecast trends?

Miners after recent commodities price correction are all on the retreat, one would thing this is the right moment to start accumulate for an economic rebound, but with China slowing down, Evergrande and other macro issues many are expecting a correction that may take some time to be priced in. This is why I am becoming adverse to long term holding, has there is very little visibility out there. You hinted at commodities drop of, which lot of it has already occurred, but if GDP around the world start to disappoint, it will be hard also for energy prices to keep up at theses levels. Theses days energy and commodities prices seems to be affected more by singular events, than by markets and trends, to the point that has become quite unpredictable to forecast a trend. Lots of volatility out there require lots of caution.

About ramping and deramping BC boy, don't be an hypocrite, you are the first shouting how much cash flow Tga is making not one but continuously posts after posts, about the same subject to boredom.
I have contributed to this board with links, new view angles, markets views and macros...but when I said this is going to drop to 300 (which it did) I became target of abuse and ridicule. Some here should be ashamed of themselves, taking about nerves????

If you have to ramp Tga (noting wrong with that) but please do it with some interesting facts, to contribute to the board knowledge.
This mantra about dividends is the worst reason to ramp any share.
Hope you realise that when and if Tga will pay out 30% divi, the share price will drop 30%, the cash they will pay put in divi......hence the divi amount you would get is actually build in the sp appreciation trough time.

Reading some posts I sense in a nice way, that maybe I am not welcome here anymore.
Can not completely disagree, although I think is always welcome to have some contrarian view to balance facts, in a time when things are not going to plans and a sp is down, it is possibly inappropriate to linger on with comments etc..
Good luck to all with your investments and remember we pi are the one with the least chances to make some money, if we start to fight each other and drivel in useless comments, these chases become even less.

I am perfectly happy to lose credibility here, as I am not seeking credibility to ramp-up shares for my own gain.
In the same way I am not expecting people to believe of follow my opinions either way, ramping or de-ramping.
Would not like for a minute to have responsibilities of other people decision on investing what so ever.
Nevertheless I reserve my right to express my opinions and to change them when I see fit.
Regarding not providing, technical, facts or news, I think since ever posting on here I have been doing the opposite. But quite right, Sir Daytradenovice, this is getting nowhere and frankly quite useless.
All I can say is today with Tga I would have been down little more than 10k and likely tomorrow the same. Don't mind losing credibility.
Now 95% in cash.

The Fed decision and apparently now also uncertainty on Biden $4trillion stimulus.
Sentiments are not exactly positive and the main indexes are much higher than before covid.....something as to give.
I wonder what the Fed boss is going to say on Wednesday to save the day for the market, if indeed is going to say something.
