Thanks for MOIL document which I have read. I do not see any reference to $60 cost-of-extraction on p. 13. On p. 12 there is a table, including a 'heavy oil' column at $40-$60. Perhaps this is what you are referring to. If the oil is going to cost up to $60 to extract, I do not see how they can get this financed in current conditions. $40 would be a different matter, perhaps.

Since the company is planning to borrow very large amounts to fund this development, they will have to produce robust calculations showing a cost of extraction (including financing costs) significantly below current oil prices. Otherwise, it won't happen. I don't see the calculations in the recent RNSs, but they must exist.

$60 extraction cost cannot be right, the project would never have started, even before the price fall. Do you know where you saw that figure?

Extensive fundraising will be needed to get this up and running, so there will be opportunities then for those who want to buy in. Of course the price remains to be seen, presumably a discount on wherever it settles. Recent share options granted around the 8p mark (while the share was sitting at 4/5p), so it seems they expect it to go higher.

DOB has failed to make money on Irish radio so far, no reason to expect INM to do any better. Market is just too small and too crowded.

how much of the holding DOB intends to acquire? At least it's arms length, sort of, not like the last transaction. It's only good news if you think the Irish market is a better bet than the Australian.
