Sorry, you're quite right. I confused the Sierra per-share offer with the buyout price. I better go back to bed.

This is all very interesting.
However, our market cap at £150m. is already three times the Sierra buyout deal.
I know we have better prospects than Sierra, although still unproven.
Nevertheless, I wonder about the prospects for the kind of offer people are expecting here.
There seems to be something of a buyers' strike at present.

Who sold and why? Don't know. Either someone needs cash, or they think it is too high at 300ish.

In relation to Vanadium, you say that ' 25% of the worlds supply (Russia) has essentially been removed'.
But surely the Russian production has not been cancelled. Maybe it can't be sold in NATO countries, but I'm sure the Chinese would be glad to have it, or the Indians etc. It has only been removed from certain markets.

Clearly there has been a determined buyer since late last week. It could be an II, or another HNWI. Since the Board needs a higher SP more than it needs cash, perhaps the buyer was told (if he/she approached the Board) to buy in the market. When the buyer has finished for the moment, we may see the SP fall back again unless there is significant news - as it did following the previous HNWI deals. Hopefully not all the way.

Not as good as profitable, but it's a step on the way.

Something is undoubtedly holding this back.
Either (1) investors are worried that the mine will again fail to deliver; or
(2) there is an expectation of further dilution to finance ore sorter (or something else). It would be a big help if this could be ruled out.

Since no replacement has been announced, and he does not seem to be going anywhere in particular, it may be that he was unhappy with some significant aspect of Sierra's R&D plans.
Perhaps he felt it was time, and past time, to proceed with development of SRA737.
If that is the explanation, it is not good news for SAR.

When I saw the drop this morning I tried to buy 2000 shares around 105-110. I was unable to do so because my broker, Stocktrade, said they had not received necessary notifications following the stock split. I am not sure what this means, or whose fault it was, but If others were similarly affected, it may have accelerated the drop.

Indulge my ignorance, please. As I understand it, the P1 trial is intended primarily to establish maximum tolerated dose by practical testing on human volunteers - i.e. to establish tolerability/toxicity in real life. In advance of that, what can toxicity studies establish, and with what probability? I presume they are conducted in the laboratory and/or the computer, but without human subjects. Are animals used?
