It seems to me WSG has no choice but to stick to this deal, and find ways of making it work, in spite of Trump. If it backs out, pleads force majeure or whatever, the company is finished. End of story. If it can make it work, there is a bright future ahead. The world is a big place, there are lots of countries where America's writ does not run. Has the BOD the courage to go for it? If not, they might as well pack up now, they will be bankrupt by year's end.

A major investor apparently has suggested INM should use the cash pile to buy out DOB. Would he agree? I'd say two chances, one of them very slim. The share price would double in short order if he left. Or maybe even more. Dream on!

Thoth expressed an honest opinion on the IMM board, initially in fairly cautious terms (Thurs about 16.45). He was then jumped on by some of the residents there who can't abide any opinion that is not 100% positive. Personally I was glad to read his comments. He may be right or he may be wrong, but he made some good points which anyone holding the stock would be wise to consider, i.m.o.

Latest investigation is very bad news for INM and its journalists, not to mention its board. Whoever is responsible for what happened is not fit to be a director of a public company.

Steady on, chaps. We are talking about a preliminary report that shows suggestive effects in specially bred mice. How long ago was the leukemia experiment that showed 10 out of 10 cure in mice? Five years? How far has that treatment gone in the meantime? We could be another 5 years from having a useful treatment for lupus - or longer.
