Just been re-reading the BE update. Undoubtedly impressive, but I wonder how much this is all costing, and what proportion of BMN's free cash flow it is absorbing. I suppose it will be September before we get the relevant numbers.
I would like to think the BMN board is keeping a tight grip on costs.

This is discounting a really dreadful trading statement. We shall see.

IMO it is not only a communications problem. I think they have met an unexpected hitch over the workforce bonus, and whatever else is bundled in with that. Until they sort that, they can't announce dividend allocations to shareholders. What the hitch is, I have no idea: but they have form here. They did not see the problem coming last year, and they seem to have missed it again. Perhaps they need a better or more senior labour relations director.

You say speculation, I say interpretation. We shall see, but maybe not for a few days.

Clearly some hitch has arisen with the workforce bonus scheme, and that has to be sorted before anything else is announced.
It is disappointing, but hopefully it's a molehill not a mountain.

Here is a free forecast. A paywall won 't help revenue. The online offering is nowhere good enough to justify it. I scan it sometimes since it's free, wouldn't consider paying for it.

It surely is clear now that there was a substantial speculative element in last autumn's price spike. It may be that the Chinese authorities deliberately held back on inspection/regulation to teach the speculators a lesson. Whether or not that is so, it looks as if some people have had to unload stocks recently, hence the sharp price drop. Where it will settle, remains to be seen

1. Workforce bonus to be announced by end March.
2. Union meeting with company yesterday 2pm local time, followed by union meeting with workforce 4.30 pm, both presumably in connection with 1 above.
3. If everything goes smoothly, reasonable expectation of an RNS today, possibly also covering dividend policy.
4. If no RNS by close of play, maybe everything did not go smoothly. The RNS would of course have been drafted in advance on the assumption of there being no problems, you would not be sitting down to write it in the late afternoon.
5. So maybe everything did not go smoothly.

Usual question. Who knew?

That's just about the time the second workforce meeting was due to start (with time difference).
Does that tell a story? Hope not.
