That's who I'm thinking of. I can't swear it's the same person, but the style is very similar. He picks his target carefully, a small company with limited free float, so that it tends to rise quickly once some buying is generated. Then he ramps it hard, up to 20 posts a day, so that any dissenting voices get swamped. Eventually he takes his profit and vanishes. Last time I saw this kind of thing, the poster called himself something like 'Mr. Orangeskin'; and there was a previous instance whose details I forget. Of course they may all be different, but the result is much the same: one person makes a killing, at the expense of those who are naive or less experienced. AIM regulation should stamp it out, hard, but in fact they don't seem to.

The merciless ramping on this board may actually be damaging the company. It looks as if the major pharma concern which has been discussing a small contract, may have backed off a bit. Why? Well, if they have seen investors being led up the garden path here recently, on the back of reports of a contract which is still unsigned, that could explain it. I think I have seen this ramper before under a different name, but with a similar style. He is dangerous.

I have a few shares here, for the moment, but the more I think about it, the less likely it is that E. Ryan can authorise oil extraction at Barryroe if he has any discretion in the matter. I have heard him on radio within the last year saying point blank, the oil must be left there. Will he overrule his own clearly expressed views, of which the media will undoubtedly remind him? Slim chance, I would say, whether or not he remains Green leader.

That may be a problem. The Greens have said - very emphatically - the oil should be left in the ground.
Would they push it to the point of leaving government? We'll see, I guess.

All this talk about takeovers is complete rubbish. The company's principal asset, indeed its only significant asset, is Dr Sandler and his expertise. Without Dr S the company is of no interest.

For you and me, yes.
For someone whose life's work this is, who eats and breathes it every day, I cannot see that it should take more than a week to write a grant application, and maybe a second week to review and correct it. That's two weeks. Plenty of time if you really know what you are doing.

Lupus is a hard target to hit. See what happened to IMM. The indicators are all subjective, hard to prove anything.
