Someone is playing silly games here, buying tiny amounts at top of the price range. Makes the graph look better, but I doubt if many people are fooled.

It is not credible that they have not received a simple clarification from MRHA within a month.
My guess is that they have received clarification, and have approached their CRO partners for the 'further support' needed. No surprise if that takes a month or two, or indeed more, depending on what is needed and how busy they are.
Presumably (!) they will tell us in the AGM statement.

Following is the relevant part of the November RNS:
‘.. the MHRA has indicated that it seeks a review by the UK Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Monitoring Authority, or further support, of the non-clinical data submitted as part of the application to approve the clinical study. Sareum and its advisors are seeking additional clarification from the MHRA’.
So,
1. We are currently seeking clarification from the MHRA.
2. Presumably this is in relation to the ‘further support’ required.
3. The alternative, a review by the good practice body, is presumably one SAR would prefer to avoid, since a review by a third party would certainly lead to delay and the outcome may be unpredictable.
4. When we are told what ‘further support’ is needed, presumably we will request same from our contract partners. One can see this may take some time.
5. Too many ‘presumably’s. It would be helpful to receive some clarification.
6. Will we be informed when we reach stage 4? Wait and see.
7. It seems unlikely this can all be sorted before 2023 Q2. Maybe Q3. At that stage the best outcome is that we can resubmit our application.
8. Meanwhile the share price will have to sink or swim on its merits.

He would say, I think (if I may paraphrase) that the current infestation of wombles is a sure sign that there is indeed something up. They don 't come from nowhere, they come from a paymaster who sees a reason to push the price down.

There is one investor here who is well capable of organising an AGM mutiny. He came close to doing it once before, and I expect he still has the contacts. Unfortunately we have not heard from him for a few months now, and must presume he is hors de combat for whatever reason. Thoth2, we miss you.

a. If clarification is what is required, this should only take a few weeks max.
b. If further evidence is required (i.e. more testing), a delay of up to a year is likely.
By now the company must know which is the case, a or b, and they should give us the news forthwith.

The numbers just don't make sense. They could have done it a few months ago before they told us about their problems, but presumably the NOMAD (rightly) wouldn't allow it.
At today's price (pre suspension), to raise $20m. would require trebling the shares in issue (160m). At a plausible discounted price, trebling twice over. You would be asking shareholders to subscribe six times the value of their shares, just to pay the debts. Just not realistic.
