So I turned to the Sunday Times Rich List, to get some idea of how much money Mick Davis has.
Surprise, he's not there.
The cut-off is about £120 million, which I thought he would reach with ease, given his stellar career.
So either he hasn't got that much, or it is well hidden.
Anybody know is there an explanation?

A few questions arise.
If the FAR project is as hopeless as suggested by some here, why did Davis involve himself? He surely does not need the money or the hassle, at this stage of his career. He is clearly nobody's fool, and if he sees value in the Khazakh project, it should not be lightly dismissed.
He is of course South African, and must be well aware of BMN and its projects. I wonder has he had any contact with BMN management? Not that anyone will tell us.

Positivity is all very well, but frankly news is what is needed.

To answer my own question, there seem to be 267 million shares at admission, i.e. MCAP of about 20 million. Is that right? And if so, is it fair value?

Anybody know how many shares are in issue here, i.e. what is the MCAP?

It is reasonable to suppose that the revised deal with SRRA included an agreed date by which the reduced milestone would be paid. Otherwise, why bother to do the deal?
The agreed date might be April 1, or May 1, or perhaps June 1. I don't think it can plausibly be any later than that.
If the cash does not arrive by April, I think the SAR board should itself raise whatever money is needed to progress the compounds. If we are still in the same place by September, we may find the world has passed us by.

Does it matter? No, unless we are back at 5.5p next week. By about Thursday I would say.

Vlad is a scientist, not a businessman. He just wants to get ahead with the science, with the least hassle possible.
Presumably he had advice, which was not good advice i.m.o. It would have been far better to do a straight placing,
over and done with. This thing could limp on for months, puncturing the SP every few weeks.
