Hard to know. The share price performance in the last week would suggest no, in spite of the encouraging sampling details.
The loan arrangement was announced on 30 June. Hard to believe that top lawyers (who do this stuff every day before breakfast) could not complete the paperwork to a deadline in two months.
Foot dragging, i.m.o., although the terms are so favourable to NewGen that it is hard to see why.

The SP has been attacked every morning since Friday, after what was seen as an unconvincing RNS.
It has clearly been a profitable trade.
It will continue until it ceases to be profitable.

Must be about time for a reverse speeding RNS - 'We know of no reason ..'

Some people here depend more than is wise on Thoth2 - asking 'Where is Thoth?' when the price falls, as though it was his fault. He is a smart fellow, but he is not all-knowing. Besides he has always said this share is a gamble - a good one, in his opinion, but still a gamble. Could all end in tears if something fails a trial - and the majority of trials do fail. If you can't afford the loss, better sell now while you can.

Successful bear raid today. Should have seen it coming, the RNS left the door open with delays and uncertainties.

For at least a year now, the proportion of my pension fund and personal assets tied to a single share has been too high for comfort (40-50%). I have several times tried to spread the risk, by selling some SAR and reinvesting elsewhere. It hasn't worked, because (a) SAR continues to rise - shocking, that - and (b) the alternatives have generally declined (mostly copper miners and other biotechs). So I am still 50% in a single share, though the pot has increased a lot. I think I will just have to grin and bear it - though I worry sometimes about the consequences of even one trial going astray.

Sentiment is shot here. The recent CLN drawdown has emptied whatever wind was in the sails.
The next news had better be good.

I think he is required to pass on significant information as soon as he knows it with reasonable confidence.

An unsuccessful or inconclusive Covid trial would halve the SP, or worse, and would cause major difficulties with the HNWI investors. Essential to get it right, we have a lot to lose.
