Nomadme, Pretty much what I wrote earlier today. The contract is in place with Admarine and they will supply a suitable rig when required. the best outcome for TRP would be to get a rig that has just come out of contract as it will already have the drill crew onboard who will be fully up to speed with the rig itself.

I can see a Green box so I presume either Tony the Mouth or BSR are talking down the reply from JA. I bet neither have ever set foot on a drill rig!

Both him and BSR are in the bin for me, all I see if a lovely Green box when either of them post. All I can think is they have lost a significant (for them) amount on TRP and wish the same for all other investors. Sad individual(s)

CMG, I agree that finding a shallow water jack up won't be an issue at all and there are a number close by that could be on location in no time at all, as I previously stated the long lead items are 3rd party equipment. It is not as simple as just shipping the equipment as it will have to clear customs and in West Africa this can be somewhat problematic.

On a recent project in Senegal equipment could take 4-6 weeks to clear, I was once in Limbe around 1998 and we spent more time waiting on materials to clear customs than actual time working. That said things could have changed in Cameroon.

Mike, You are correct that the tow costs will fall under Admarine's responsibility, however they won't tow the rig until they have a signed contract in place.

Don't let them get to you, Yes the SP may drift up and down due to the lack of news however I for one am confident things will look very different in 2-3 Months.

All the noise about the rig move etc is only that and I do not expect to see any rig moves pre license approval, and even after approval things will take time as all the 3rd party equipment and personnel need to be mobilised.

Sorry Nomadme, was that directed at me? if so you are very much mistaken as I have clearly stated my position and already hold a significant number of shares.

TRP won't take any rig until the License has been officially approved and signed , even then it will be a couple of months before all the 3rd party equipment and personnel are in place ready to spud.

Nomadme, If and when the 501 is under tow it will not be with a single tug, as a minimum I would suggest there will be 3 tugs, 2 pulling and one behind to act at the break.
