While I agree with much of what you say you have to remeber that if Sidara bid they will not be basing their offer on todays price, it could be based on when the SP was 44p and therefore a 200% premium.

Light, I don't fully agree with your take on the update issued on the 31st March, The way I see it is the issues are related to hoistoric Lump sum/Turnkey projects that will have been completed and with therfore should not have any material impact for Woods s ability to generate cash going forward.

The POO doesn't effect the SP of WG as WG doesn't produce any oil! second Oil Companies are not looking at todays price of Oil they are looking at the future price..Out of Interest how long to you think a project takes from FEED through to 1st Gas/Oil?
