I started in 2000 working for Haliburton and spent a lot of time living out of Kirkhill Lodge that was in Dyce
I have always worked for the client, however I did the last Big project that Amec did (CR) and got close to a few of the guys as I was in Korea with them during the build. I have to say Amec were good and for us they were always reimbursable so we as the client could have an imput.
I tended to generally stay with one of the 2 Majors (You should be able to guess) however I did do a couple of projects for Qatargas and Conoco. Technip are terrible and I can't see how they make money, Worley did the Conoco project and it was their 1st for the North Sea so was a bit of a shambles.
