The CFO also has a bunch of options at 10p and I suspect he is confident of hitting the milestones and buying at 50p silly, particularly for a CFO. Good to see the largest buy the newest recruit and certainly knows her onions. It's a non-story, a calamity they had to raise at 50p but done now and there will of course be some flipping for quick gains but I suspect there will be some positve RNSs en route and many will hold.

it's pretty obvious all knew cash was needed so waiting a month and the share price would be under more pressure and cash also needed to sign off the accounts which has been done in april although they could delay this but that would exacerbate a fall so positive data would boost the share price before quickly falling. defo needed to raise bofore but not question the discount was awful but i guess they knew the drop would continue. **** poor management and i suspect they thought cash was sealed (licensing or ii raise at a higher price) but if fell by the wayside and no contingency.

All of the biopsies they took had significant dox in tumour versus blood 24 hours after treatment. Same as preclinical. Mechanism of action works in 100% of biopsies.

The leaving group and other PK will show exactly how it travels around the body then secreted but it’s doing as intended which is why many patients continue to receive the drug. Their independent clinicians wouldn’t drag these very ill patients in for more treatment if they didn’t believe it helping and no disease progression (stabilised) shows that.

I bet the new IP they talked about will form be part of the AACR presentation. Hopefully the latter cohorts have prolonged more lives and without the debilitating side effects usually associated with chemo.

At AACR presentation spots will only be given to companies who are presenting new data. 13 Dec read out was sailing close to the wind but then we also have cohorts 6 and 7 and hopefully in 7 some first line patients so naive tumours.

I hold and think a raise a good thing. I understand why some would be peeved given we are near a 52 week low but if the placing is with funds and not retail who may flip them for 10% or whatever it will be positive and strengthen avacta's hand in negotiating deals. Data will be public early April so defiintely makes sense to have a stronger balance sheet, say 10% dilution.

Take away the Coris acquisition and Avacta burnt less than £9m Jan 1st to June 30th so should have sufficient cash to end of this year and who knows DX could extend further

Cohort 7 recruitment was finished in Dec so yes a complete data set and with some patients as a first line treatment so I imagine we have some superb results on naive tumours. Superb timing too ahead of the calculation period for the next conversion.

Yeah Charles is the first human to take 3996. As good as 3996 has been preclinical it's beyond ludicrous to think he'll be the first to trial it.

Charles is mid 70s and although I wish him well he's had a charmed life and I hope we're able to get preCISION to patients ASAP and particularly those poor souls who are young and suffer.

I suspect M&G think that too so perhaps they sold some to use the money and buy more back.

I can’t see them not raising at a discount, the question is can they release material news to get the share price higher before. Looking very ugly.

I mean who cares. All it means is that a MM is happy to sell below mid which isn’t good. Much better when large sells showing as buys as a MM happy to buy above the mid.

I’ve only got 500k and wish I’d sold them early Jan when the trading update was later than usual. I said it looked iffy. Not many but I should have sold and could’ve bought more back now. I was thinking of topping up if it dropped but I think I’ll wait for the raise.

Hoovering up, have you seen the share price? Get a grip FFS. M&G the largest shareholder and will have the BOD's ears so this is not good. Of course they can't disclose material news but get an idea what's coming.

It's really not a good look a large shareholder selling at a massive loss just over 6 months after taking part in the raise. A raise has to take place before their accounts are signed off in June so they need some positive RNSs (material and news of revenues) soon to get the share price higher before a raise or I suspect share dumping will continue.

M&G likely sold their shares for nearly half what they paid for them as they took part in the 3p placing. Safe to assume their average a lot higher than 3p though. Doesn’t look good. They’ll clearly be a discount at the next raise which is why the appetite to buy shares even as low as here isn’t there. Hopefully M&G have stopped their selling as if not who knows where it goes

So another II selling down although less than 1% so around 4m shares. If the recent fall due to less than 1% being sold it doesn’t look good. Anyway, perhaps it’ll recover a little now.
