I think people are misunderstanding this announcement, its a continuation of an existing deal, one that was bringing in over 10% of our revenue last year (yes a tiny amount) & is now expanded in terms of which programmes are now going to be available in the inventory side of things for Multinational Brands to use. Its now going into Prime Time TV show, where there are larger audiences & higher fees per 1000 eyeballs, so that will help drive revenue, its for 3 years now so RTL clearly see this as the way forward.

These are the deals that we will get RNS about because these are the people who hand over the content for VPP & pay out our share of the revenue.

Well LL you complain no matter what is released, because it doesn't suit your agenda.

The agreement covers more than 10% of last year's revenue hence the RNS, its only been released now most probably because they have been negotiating the final terms of the 3 year agreement & then its been back dated for continuity, just like how it happens in many deals.

It might be worth messaging them & saying that Mirriad is unloved & over looked by UK investors currently & valued at under $5M having spent around $100M to get to this point in its journey & shouldn't they think of jumping onboard!

Note the start of there post ....... "game-changing partnership" that kind of indicates why you might want to be buying a stake in that business, if that's what its going to do for you & is as cheap as chips to do!

I just worry that they are cutting things far to fine in terms of staff.

Well 2phevs, more viewers means more eyeballs watching it, more hours watched does exactly the same thing. So that should potentially mean more revenue coming into Mirriad, unless a campaign has a maximum budget & the number of viewers exceeds that amount in eyeball terms.

I really want a Germany revenue number when the time comes to see just how much better it is doing now compared to last year.

Wow your finds just keep coming & coming & the news is obviously having a ripple effect within the adspace about Mirriad, it's just not really being picked up by investors yet!

Will be looking out for any holding announcements after yesterday & now have to pay attention between 5th-8th April as well for that other conference.

Just checked SB account again zero new activity, he must be on holiday or in a lot of big meetings that we've not to know about!

Well Group Black could approach Mirriad directly about taking a stake in the company, but Mirriad can hardly turn round & say oh yes we're happy to give you X% of the company at the current share price, when you know we have lots more news that's not public & the share price doesn't reflect where the Business is at!

That's not going to fly with our shareholders is it. Why don't you buy in the market instead & help us that way, by getting the share price to a price that is more reflective of our prospects.

Right 2phevs now that I'm home again, lets see if I can try & explain my thoughts on what's going on .............

So on reading that article last night, Group black was effectively set-up a bit like Mirriad's TDMA only much more formal & structured & has its own employee's. Its purpose was to attract diverse media spend.

It also wanted to invest some of its revenue into buying equity stakes in Black-owned media companies.

Shade Room was one of the original founders (Shade Room & LatiNation are co-operating with Mirriad on a new product which is meant to be ready for "newfronts" which is like 4 weeks away) & Shade Room is also part of TDMA hence the Mirriad connect.

Now WPP set-up GroupM originally so that it could spend $75M of its big Multinational advertisers budgets directly with Group Black so that it went straight to that diverse group & met the wishes/commitments made by there Multinational clients (Target, McDonalds, Coke Cola & GM)

Yes its starting to get complicated but the tentacles & links are all there.

Then NBCU & Group Black started its partnership to help facilitate this further & to even start producing there own content & airing it on Peac0ck etc, ie content that needs to be cleared & approved so that it can be broadcast on TV.

Which is everything that needs to happen so that VPP can occur.

Thus this is like a new Diverse Marketplace for Mirriad to exploit or you could say a big enlargement of the existing one!

So now WPP clients can spend A$ on approved VPP opportunities with all these Group Black members.

Mirriad becomes part of the ecosystem if you like. So if Mirriad is now part of the ecosystem that encompasses Group Black's revenue streams & is a key part of monetising it going forward, then why not have a stake & a say in that company as it would benefit Group Black's members.

I haven't sold a single Mirriad share yet, so surely someone simply ramping it would be selling on the ramp & buying on the falls, all my trades were listed, some even posted on advance of me actually carrying them out.

Hi Bentley43, its not as high as 25% you have to remember you are seeing each trade so for a share to really change hands it has to go from seller to MM (say 1M) then from MM to buyer (0.5M x2) so you have to divide the volume we see by 2 & then some shares will have traded several times yesterday as well.

I'd say 10% of the shares in issue have new owners now.

Been thinking about today's announcement & MTH & her new job title

Head of Brand Partnerships & Supplier Diversity, Mirriad

So really MTH is the one now interfacing between the Brands on the one hand & the content providers on the other. She has the pivotal role of linking them together & getting the Brands to spend money, but she can only do that if she has the right tools to make that happen ie a Programmatic Solution that works the way the Brands want it to do & is standardised between content providers.

There putting her people skills to the fore now.

Pretty worried about Flightman :( not heard from him all day :( hopefully he's not had a setback or such like & is still recovering as planned, maybe was due some hospital check-ups or such like.
