Well "Newfronts" & "Upfronts" are just around the corner & hopefully this year with MTH fully on the scene DJ Chihuahua makes sure there are no issues between the content providers & the multinationals & that we land some of the big deals that we are looking for.

As I've said I'm looking for a minimum of 4 deals at "Upfronts" hopefully quite a few more than that number & if some of them were to match last years missed one of $20-$40M in size, then the outlook changes completely in an instance.

In the meantime keep an eye on Canela Media & LatiNation/TSR because both of those initiatives are due to go live this quarter to (LatiNation/TSR - was to be ahead of/for the Newfronts event).

Investec have several sides to them, they are a fund manager so can hold THRU in that part of the company separately from other parts. You normally get to see the trades that have gone through there broker/MM division because they are advisors to THRU as well & because of the "special" rules currently in place need to show the totals of all trades that occurred through them.

The 2 trades occurred very close together timewise & for the same number of shares, its also the new Tax year, so someone might have been moving some of there holding into an ISA via a Bed & ISA trade, in which case there holding effectively didn't change.

Which could explain why we've not had an RNS about it. If it were a sell & a buy by 2 different people then they would both have to make holding disclosures because 2M is over 1% of the company.

The MM's are allowed to hold back the disclosure of the trades to the next day in some cases it can be 2 days! which makes following what were actually buy's & sells when very hard indeed for private investors to do. LSE at least show you which day the trade occurred upon, that doesn't happen with the normal ADVFN data I view. Which makes the LSE data much more beneficial especially if its around a "hot" stock (highly traded for a couple of days running).

Fact they didn't have to raise £6.79M Gross.

The 2nd of May 2024 document clearly states "Proposed equity fundraising to raise a minimum of £5.5 million" Gross.

Were you at the GM - No

I was, (but technically wasn't) in the heated few minutes that followed the GM the size of the placing was discussed, as was there initial £5.5M figure.

Now that's interesting from today's Investec RNS

Ordinary shares Purchases 2,057,024 1.32 1.3

Ordinary shares Sales 2,000,000 1.313 1.313

There is a trade for 57,024 shares yesterday, but not for the other 4M shares!

So did someone do a Bed & ISA for 2M shares with a 0.013p margin on them or were they actually normal trades that have yet to show up on the system! (may not even be 2 x 2M trades could be multiple ones that just happen to come to 2M in total)

Watch this space I'd say because 2M is over 1% of the company & will need to be disclosed if they all came from or went to a single party.

On the plus side at least THRU is speaking to more than one interested party so there might be a bit of competition around!
