I think most people realise PRIME Video is huge, maybe not the true scale of it, but savvy enough to know it would be game changing for Mirriad in its own right.

It's just a matter of time, until more things come out into the public domain, whether Mirriad like it or not.

I mean "Upfronts" is only 3 weeks away now, PRIME will be there, maybe they will show case it there?

Lets be honest SB has been very quiet on Linkedin lately as if he is tippy toeing his way around trying to avoid anything that might be connected to Mirriad & upset the apple cart. I mean it took him 2 days to acknowledge the CYNOPSIS piece & I guess he eventually worked out it was going to be impossible to ignore it any longer.

Anyway lets see what tomorrow brings, I know you're not normally about & I'll be missing all afternoon as well.

I wonder who DJ Chihuahua is getting on & how much fun she's had this weekend !

Sadly you have a lot to learn about Mirriad.

Those who have been here long enough will tell you exactly the same thing, don't hold your breath on getting confirmation. They have refused to confirm things in the recent past through RNS or Reach announcements that have later turned out to be 100% true.

Some things they deemed not be to be price sensitive, turned out they were!

Mirriad's signed agreements are with the content providers or ad agencies, or SSP's etc & as such don't have a monetary value on signing, because there business model is unusual. The Advertisers sign the deals & spend there money with the content providers in the majority of cases, (not direct with Mirriad as explained in the Investment Case Document) eventually Mirriad's share of the revenue works its way into the company's bank account.

Everyone here will tell you patience is needed with Mirriad.

Just for total disclosure I am a large Mirriad shareholder with close to 3% of the company.

Its spent around £75M developing its AI product, which is finally starting to be accepted as one of the best ways of advertising. Hopefully it will help ITV boost its ad revenue so it con continue to make its own TV productions etc thst we all enjoy watching.

Now on 1st reading you might wonder what on earth this has to do with ITV !

Until you read this bit.

"According to AI-powered product placement firm Mirriad, some of the key benefits in implementing VPP are seamless integration into existing content, making advertiser access fast, scalable and flexible. It allows content creators the freedom to create a narrative, and blend intuitive and non-disruptive advertisements into their story. We see Mirriad’s work on Prime Video and ITV."

This is the 1st time that ITV has actually been associated as working with Mirriad (confirmed by CYNOPSIS). Although there might have been hints of it in the RTL Ad Alliance's new 3 year agreement with Mirirad.

Why's this important ?

Well VPP is a triple win situation, the Multinational Advertiser is able to connect there product "in content" with the audience, which resonates better with them, the Content Provider (ITV) gets access to a new revenue stream from these VPP's within the content & it help there normal ad business to a degree as well & Mirirad gets paid for doing the VPP.

Now I know UK audiences are different to the USA & Germany so might not react in quite the same way, but here's a clue as to why the Multinational Brands are basically demanding VPP opportunities now with content providers in the USA.

Recent studies have show that for each Ad $1 spent on pre-roll & mid-roll ad's in the USA it generates $7 of revenue pick-up for the Advertiser. However with VPP in conjunction with either pre-roll or mid-roll that same Ad$1 now generates $26 of revenue pick-up for the Advertiser !

That sort of step change in revenue generation is why the Multinational Brands want it.

There is another benefit that ITV can get as well, lots of Multinational Brands have different products in different countries. P&G use "Tide" (in bright orange packaging) in the USA whereas its "Ariel" here, so VPP can change the product over ( where PP [product placement] took place during filming). So if they know there going to air, such a film or series they can go to the Multination Brand involved and ask if they want to re-advertiser it for the UK!

ITV with its own productions might also be able to sell the content on to other countries in future & possibly get a royalty share of any VPP done on its content.

Remember VPP can't be avoided because its part of the content you can't simply skip it.

Mirriad suggest there AI technology can identify at least 6 opportunities per hour of various length's ( a few seconds to 15 or 30) that are suitable & Brand safe. They also only do it in content that has been cleared by the provider to do so.

I wonder what he will be saying now that we've smashed through & held above his 200 day moving average of 0.32p with the rising RSI above neutral 50. On Friday he was talking about 0.42p / 0.50p maybe before the shares took off & maybe because the last time he covered it we smashed the 200 Day number intra-day & he was looking at 0.7xp next, but it fell back & failed to close above that 200 Day number which was negative at the time.

This time we've held it :)

I'm guessing that questions was for me ? (you'd be better asking 2phevs for his opinion, as he has a far greater understanding of it all than me & how it all works etc & the CEO's vision at times)

Your guess is as good as anyone else's in regard to the Programmatic Solution going live !

It could be live now, it could be still in "testing" Sadly no-one actually knows - especially the Shareholders in the company who are kept in the dark on many things.

What I can say for certain, is that the company has totally misled Shareholders for a number of years now about Programmatic. Mirriad has completely failed to educate & explain Programmatic to Investors full stop, it refuses to engage, listen & act with its Shareholders or potential Investors.

Yes it is a very complex landscape, but there very limited attempts to explain it have been pathetic to say the least. Two of us were at last year's AGM listening to the CFO explaining why it wasn't live back then ( when it was meant to have been June 2024) giving an explanation that quite frankly has turned out to be laughable at best.

At the end of all this when the Programmatic Solution is finally "Officially" fully live (an announcement that I believe will cause the share price to gap up because of its importance - ie being able to do VPP at scale quickly & easily). Shareholders are going to have to demand an inquest into how the company got this so wrong over the last 3 years, they've been flying by the seat of there pants on this not actually knowing where they were going, how long it would take to get there or at what cost & having thought they'd got there found out they hadn't! & had to re-route again & again.

Perhaps instead of looking at Analysts rating you should spend your time reading past RNS's instead.
