From August 2020, Zaza Mamulashvili will no longer hold the position of Director and Board of Directors of Frontera Resources Georgia. In this regard, several trials have been held and are still ongoing. The information is spread by the company's shareholders. As it is known, they received an official e-mail from the head office, based on which it is clear that the management-related restructuring is currently underway. The shareholders explain to Kommersant that it is very difficult for them to get complete information at this stage and in fact the processes are in the shadows, which is why each of them is concerned and does not know what to expect from their investments.
"Shareholders are very excited because we do not know whether we will lose our investments. The relationship between Zaza Mamulashvili and Frontera, the largest shareholder of Steve Nikandros, is the subject of the greatest concern. Nikandros is still a member of the board and previously held the position of director, "- explains Stuart Millard, one of the shareholders of Frontera.
"No one has full information about what is happening now, it is based on all their own opinions and the information that is spread in the press. It is as if we are playing a guessing game. Perhaps until the trial is over, they do not want to confuse the case with spreading too much information. Zaza Mamulashvili is no longer involved in the activities of the Georgian frontier since August, we only know that, on the other hand, there is silence, ”said another shareholder Dave Huffs.
"Frontera Resources terminated the cooperation with the former General Director Zaza Mamulashvili and he was expelled from the Board of Directors. The company also filed a lawsuit seeking damages. The company also intends to appeal against Zaza Mamulashvili's undeserved response lawsuit against the board of directors a few weeks ago, and will try to enforce them under all strict Georgian and American laws. Frontera is currently in the process of developing a business plan, including the formation of a new management team. We will inform you about additional interesting details in the near future, "reads the e-mail, which was received by the shareholders of Frontera from the head office recently, after a long wait.
"Commersant" checked the information with the former director of Frontera. According to Zaza Mamulashvili, despite the fact that he is no longer involved in the management activities of the company, he still remains the largest shareholder and creditor of Frontera.
