Oil falling fast..currently at $26

Hur currently producing 20k at a cost of $17 but the cash position is 1/2 off rre and they put a cautious statement out after hrs yesterday saying there capex mayb affected if oil stays this low..fyi I sold Hur yesterday...but their cap is double the cash they have currently

I d agree..it’s puzzling..I’m in Hur too and I ve nearly made back my original entry point..it went up nearly 30% while rre stalled ???

I d expect the oil war to end as it’s the Saudis which called for this meeting to discuss the economic effect convid-19 is having in the world

They are asking workers to stay on rigs until june as far as I know...

We know capex this year has been hedged and that rock rise are not going to cut capex as of last week but that may change...we also know he’s been meeting debt managers as par the last interview with Malcy...the market cap..I have no idea why we are sitting where we are but it’s market wide..we have strong balance and will come out of this in a stronger position in my opinion...if your not trading and are invested...I d come back in a few months and see where we are sitting

G20 summit not G29

It’s also known that the Saudis have called for G29 summit..think it’s to be held this week to discuss the economical impact of Convid-19...I m sure leaders will also want to speak about the economic impact of their plan to flood the market with more oil.

The Nopec bill if used will stop USA from buying oil from Saudis or any other Opec country

The Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA") notifies that it temporarily prohibits short selling in the following instruments and transactions under Articles 23 (1) and 26 (4) of Regulation (EU) No 236/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 March 2012.
Nature of measure:

a) short sale prohibition for shares

Scope:

a) Please see Annex 1 below for the instruments concerned

b) all UK trading venues on which the instruments are traded

c) any person irrespective of their country of residence (subject to the exemption below)

Entry into force of the measure and duration:

a) Date: 17 March 2020

b) Time: immediately

c) Duration: Until the end of the trading day on 17 March 2020

Reasons for imposing measure and evidence:

Following the action taken by Authorite Des Marches Financiers (AMF) in the instruments below, the FCA is satisfied that it is necessary to take the action set out in this notice to assist AMF, taking into account:

Capex will be lower this year as rig rates will be lower than what rre planned for so good news for the cash balance.

Rre Hedged 455,000 bbl at $65.70/bbl in Q1 2020 and ~63 million therms at ~45p/therm in calendar 2020.
That’s just for 1st quarter...they will have hedged for the rest of the year too ,as they have done in the past.

The opex includes oil and gas at an avg production cost... Unit opex (/boe)
Unit opex was $22.1/boe for the six months ended 30 June 2019, 37% lower than the comparative period in 2018 ($34.8/boe). This reduction was driven by the acquisition of Dyas B.V., where predominantly gas producing assets have a unit opex of $12.7/boe.
