I agree, the community there has read “BTC Treasury” but it’s unlikely they’ve looked past it - and now the subnet is operating with an associated GitHub, that instils confidence.

Once the move to the other exchange is done, subnet is fully fleashed out - which helps miners return good results = more emissions - then they can focus on improving Cels reach and potentially more partnerships to fuel the AI results and gain more traffic.

It just needs time to cook

To confirm I do not think it’s a scam, in fact I think it’s exactly what the subnets are designed for.

They’re designed for different companies / businesses or projects to obtain processing power to fuel their project and expand it.

Today cel handles beauty and care, nothing to stop them expanding that over the years. Eventually Cel might expand to do more but the subnet is exactly what they need for their business.

The poster from X understood it as a BTC treasury only which is t true, they have an AI product available and is utilising the subnet to power its results and improve recommendations!

Once that comes to light, it’ll be another barrier removed and it can only improve with that

That poster is an official employee of bittensor, then company behind Tao and the creation of the subnet system… - it’s not a conspiracy theory it’s simply a company policy, all the unclaimed subnets have that message.

Those are the pinned posts there is more recent ones - given Olivia has spoken about it, registered official RNS about ownership etc we know it’s not a scam.

But I’m just saying from a functional and fully operational standpoint, I hope that when they’re ready to they do claim that subnet in this discord as it installs confidence and offers official routes to support in a clear and open manner

Obviously we’ve confirmed the ownership and that it’s going something, but from the core community at bittensor - they want a little more transparency / confirmation

According to the GitHub there’s still a way to go to improving the subnet etc e.g code base setup - https://github.com/getcel-ai/cel_ai-bittensor-subnet

Which may be why they’ve not claimed as the project may not be ready to support validators / miners fully

That message about it being a potential scam until verified is directly from the official discord from staff who work for bittensor - they post this message in all unverified subnets

When I get a minute I’ll upload screenshots somewhere and link - I’m not saying it is a scam, but the growth potential is hindered by it.

Yes, although there may be other elements to its revenue that were unaware of, fees etc that are paid to it as well.

Olivia has stated in interviews it’s a lot more, but the only verifiable is that Cel Ai receives all of the owner Tao.

We do not know if they operate their own miner / validator - she also hasn’t verified the ownership in the Bittensor official discord and the consensus there is that this along with the other UK owned subnets are “Scams”

Once she verifies it there it acts as the main support channels for the miners / validators, so verifying adds credibility and also a channel for better business operation

So Bittensor has an official discord and subnet 127 has its own channel!

Olivia is yet to claim it, probably because it’s the least of her worries but when I read into the reactions of the net they were less than stellar..

Looks like until it’s claimed and the project it works on is disclosed, the official team discourage investment in it - so to have 12 Tao daily emissions is impressive.

Once its ownership is verified I think the subnet will pick up speed too. Also, apparently not all subnets require miners to report their axons - so although we see miners at doing 0 on everything, it can mean nothing and they are actually working.

I’m hopeful once the re listing happens and everything settles the subnet can get verified as that’s one of the bigger attractors for investment

The other thing I’ve noticed is that the subnet market price - which is the price of the alpha token is 0.63 cents. So whilst the market cap in it is lower, the Individual value is actually much higher than the share price on Cel Ai itself

This guy explains the process well - a 1 Tao stake will cost whatever it is when you bought that Tao and the cost of Tao when you stake - Alpha is essentially shares in the subnet

Risks:

1. Most of the miners in Cel Subnet are inactive or not performing much - if interest dries up the subnet could become worthless or much lower value

2. Tao price fluctuates so you could lose money in terms of USD whilst it’s in a dip and you’d have to hold to recoup cost.

3. If the outbound sources of work coming in dry up, the subnet will have no traffic / workload to process and as such emissions plummet, your return is proportionate to the amount of emission the validator is taking and your overall stake.

Subnet pays out quite well on staking, if any of you haven’t I’d recommend looking into investing a bit into it.

I had 0.62 tao staked on Wednesday and it’s risen to 0.64 through the validator I’ve staked them on and it’s nice return. - Dollar fluctuates but the Alpha tokens you gain are crazy.

I hold 342 alpha tokens, 10 of which were gained as emissions this week! - 3% weekly gain on alpha, which automatically restakes until you sell it.

Plus Tao is cheap at the minute, it’s in a dip so you’ll get more bang for buck.

Kept some shares but focusing future movement on the subnet itself, passive returns and the more we stake the better the subnet will grow as it becomes more attractive

Freetrade do not offer AQUIS Trading, you can make an IG shares account - they also have access to things like options but if you don’t have experience steer clear - I’ve got one already so hopefully it’ll be a smooth transition..

Checked with them this morning and they said they were unable to comment and corporate action / policies would be in touch.

Not sure if drying up - The buys are much smaller value compared to some of the sells. I'd expect the stock to stick around this price mark for a while to be honest. So much uncertainty and people need to identify new brokers for AQSE if the move goes ahead.

To be fair there's only one active miner and 5 validators - lots of space for growth on the subnet, I've taken some of my stake from stock to there just to let it grow whilst everything it settling.

So… how does this affect current shareholders in exchanges that don’t trade in the AQSE? We lose our shares at a major loss or what ?

I posted yesterday regarding staking on the subnet and the return / emissions provided for doing so, so thought i'd update on how its performed over a day period:

Total Staked - 0.61 Tao

Total Alpha tokens at 18:32 on 30/07/2025 - 336.95

Total Alpha tokens as on 13:00 on 31/07/2025 - 𑀅339.26

Balance at 18:32 on 30/07/2025 - $220.77

Balance at 13:00 on 31/07/2025 - $223.46

Daily Earnings - $1.85 / 𑀅 2.81 Alpha tokens

I believe $ actually correlates to Tao price at the time, if Tao is up the alpha tokens are worth more as their value is set against amount of Tao rather than $ cost of Tao.

It's a pretty nifty return, the interface is stating the APY for weekly earnings (I haven't held a stake this big for a week yet so it is skewed) is 96.35% APY, Daily it is stating 302.21% APY.

Obviously it fluctuates and goes up and down, but the more stakes in the subnet itself the better it performs - Higher amount of Alpha tokens is positive for the network, I believe for brining in more emissions..

Hmm... you're right that the website was last updated today at 11:15 - Source page itself confirms this.

As for the missing shares, honestly have no idea why there's a discrepancy - Clerical Error? Is it possible some who took the agreement backed out before the general meeting - as most of the resolutions were stated as "Up to X amount".

Honestly its guess work, we'll know eventually and hopefully they'll keep it quite clear and defined so its transparent what's occurring.
