Bittersweet end to the week but have to remember the bigger picture here and holding for the hopeful sale of assets and a share price many multiples of what we see today.
This time last week I was looking at a £12k paper loss, now £4k. Still obviously not ideal but moving in the right direction. We will soon build a base around 3p and this time next Friday I full expect us to be sitting above 4.5p.
Have a good weekend all.
Have to say this has been a testing week!
I invested here at precisely the wrong time. With my average now at 3.3p with 1.1m investment.
Easy to say afterwards it was obvious but at the time prior to the interview everything was pointing to 4p a share. I was even quoted it at one stage. Well and truly spiked!
Was nice of Gary to copy and paste my previous post on twitter. Quite enjoyed being called a fake! We've all made investment mistakes but until you hit that sell button, you've not made a loss... Just given yourself temporary high blood pressure instead.
When I hit the sell button at 22.5p and walk away with £250k I'll remember this day!
Lessons learned the hard way but all is not lost. Have a good weekend all. Let's see what next week brings.
I've never been involved in a share that has had a buyout before.
How does it work? If let's say the shares are 6p and then it's RNS'd that an offer for the assets have been accepted, at what point do the shares stop trading and at what point do peasant shareholders like ourselves get to know the final SP?
So I am a new investor to EUA. Should of bought on Monday for 1.80 when I had a chance but couldn't get my money out elsewhere.
Bought today at just the wrong time... already have losses elsewhere but went all-in here after researching and got somewhat caught up in the mass hysteria...! Was getting quotes at the time of 3.90, 3.92, the highest was 3.97. Took a chunk at 3.59 and was over the moon! Was hoping to break 4p today. My average is 3.4p with a million shares. Was all going well at 12:45 then BOOM MM's strike. Have never seen it like that in AIM. Not to that extend. Was in a state of shock but there was no way I was going to lose £15k!
Whatever happens, I am going to hold out for the buy out. Am hopeful of a 3 bagger.
I know long term the SP will return, but feeling pretty rubbish this evening knowing I buggered it up today. Oh well, true value will show in the end. I might have to switch off tomorrow as today couldn't take my eyes off this and sure it hasn't done the blood pressure any good!
Who knows what tomorrow will bring, it's Halloween after all. Personally I think we will finish around my buy in price of 3.4p with an RNS to land on Monday pushing this to 5p. I was wondering if it's possible for any of us to switch off, for say one month period, and then log back on to see what price we're at...! I don't think I could do it!
