Is this a tip of the hat from KIBO w.r.t. their SML?

AJ/Adouble I agree - expecting RNS next week on Burnett 2B initial flow rates. They will certainly have to RNS these separate to the testing of 2A. That's why May looks so interesting, there is significant news due to land pretty much every week for the entire month and on into June.
I'm keeping expectations tempered for the MS wells but if they are anywhere near VG-4 rates then that would be a superb result. SW has previously advised the rates at MS would not be as lucrative as those at WB but with more running room at MS multiple wells should see a greater total bopd over time.
For me though, it's the West Newton news that will really shift this SP. With the drillbit still turning they'll RNS gas shows on the way down to TD and that should be enough to draw the herd in.
Roll on the next few weeks!
Let's hope GR and co can deliver this week and put an end/start to the now infamous saga that is RHA.
It's high time they delivered something of real value, kicking the can further down the road is no longer acceptable.
Excellent volume today. The question is why? It's over double the average and we've only seen volume like this on days when official news has landed. At the risk of sounding like smilemore, I reckon we could see some movement on the RHA situation next week. We don't get a 200m volume day for nothing - will be keeping a close eye on trading tomorrow and into next week.
The investment case is compelling.
Even if you ignore the imminent spudding of one of the UKs biggest ever onshore wells carrying a 70% CoS and an even higher CoS for Parta's gas with an NPV(10) of $128 million, current/imminent production at California alone should be enough to shift the SP.
Take your 800bopd x $40 netback x 80% uptime and RBD could be throwing off around $10mil a year from it's current wells in Cali. Drill another well at WB and several at MS and you can double that figure with very low opex/capex and rapid turnaround from discovery to production.
There's still plenty left in the bank so value accretive M&A is highly likely this year. And in amongst all that there could be substantial liquidity events around any corner e.g. success @ Grizzy Island, transact on Colter etc.
It's a complete no-brainer at these levels and I'm looking forward to the big "I told you so" when we're trading in the pennies. Get 'em while you still can.
Alan, you seemed happy enough with the initial ordering of operations at Brockham. Is there not a "preferred" order of operations for this or is the re-perf then isolation switcheroo something to be expected? If it "made more sense" I would have expected it to be mentioned prior to ANGS tweets yesterday, not to mention being the plan A. Tidswell strikes again.
@KenniGT, water isolation is the first task mentioned on 3 separate slides (after rig acceptance) in the Brockham Work Programme released by ANGS. It also lives within Stage 1 of operations.
They then mention 2 new, never before discussed "stages" in todays update which suggest the water isolation has not yet been done. And there in lies the confusion.
@E_AL, I am indeed confused and you are also still left looking for answers - hence my original point about comms being confusing :)
Looks like Lucans first teething problems with ANGS new and improved comms.
Todays twitter post doesn't seem to line up in any way with the Brockham Work Programme released 3rd April. The detail of Stage 1 and Stage 2 represent 2 very different things in each of the updates and has left shareholders confused as to what has actually happened and what the sequence of events actually are/should be.

I'm assuming ANGS will be operating normal working hours over the Easter weekend as we haven't heard anything different?
Surprised there's not more buying pressure into close, fully expecting an operation update next week, got to be a good chance it lands Tuesday AM if the working hours assumption is correct.
Some material news worth reading - that makes a change!
Shame we've been slaughtered all the way down from the 5's to 1p. Let's hope today marks the start of the revival. Would like to see follow up media from LC to fully understand the implications of todays announcement.
